Chapter 4: Sneaking Peeks and Secret Shots, Quite the Taste

Samantha Huntington descended the stairs to the second floor, pushed open an old iron door, and stepped out onto the balcony. After sweating a lot in Oliver Donald's room, a gust of cold wind hit her face, causing her to sneeze. Afraid of alerting anyone, she instinctively covered her mouth.

Ignoring the risk of her sweat freezing and making her catch a cold, she walked along the wall to a window, exhaled a puff of white breath, and then peered inside. As expected, Edward Priestley was indeed being intimate with Sylvia Congreve; her tasseled skirt was lifted, and her long legs wrapped around his waist were particularly eye-catching. Samantha Huntington turned off the camera's flash, suppressing her disgust, and aimed the lens at the scene inside. Each press of the shutter, with the slight vibration of the camera, felt like more pieces of her already cracked heart breaking off.

The Starlight Ceremony was about to begin, so Edward Priestley and Sylvia Congreve didn't stay intimate for long. They shared a lingering kiss before heading back, one after the other. Her body was stiff from the cold, and Samantha Huntington stood in the empty corridor for a while, looking dejected, before turning around. To her surprise, someone was standing behind her, causing her to scream in fright.

Oliver Donald, with his hands in his pockets, watched her calmly. Only when she finished screaming did he take the camera from her. Seeing the overly intimate photos, he couldn't help but look at the small woman who was patting her chest, his eyes full of meaning. "Spying and taking photos, I didn't expect you to have such a hobby."

"I don’t!" Samantha Huntington vehemently denied, still shaken.

Oliver Donald said nothing, turning the camera screen toward her and shaking it slightly. His face was expressionless, but Samantha Huntington felt as if he was saying, "The evidence is clear."

Afraid that this man would label her as a voyeur, Samantha Huntington, despite her dizzy head, explained, "This man is my ex-boyfriend, and he cheated on me with this woman."

After speaking, she sniffed lightly. Oliver Donald's cold gaze shifted to her face, and he asked in a tone devoid of warmth, "Crying?"

Crying?! How could she cry over such a scumbag and his mistress? Samantha Huntington, to prove herself, looked up and stared at him with wide, tearless eyes. Although this woman was only his nominal wife, he couldn't bear the thought of her having feelings for another man. Seeing that her eyes were completely dry, Oliver Donald's mood improved slightly.

Samantha Huntington sniffed again, and he realized she had a cold, frowning unconsciously. A mere cold was no big deal to her; her mind was focused on how to maximize the impact of these photos. In her dizziness, a sudden idea struck her, and she struggled to catch up with the man.

"President~"

She stretched the two words out, almost singing them, making Oliver Donald feel a shiver down his spine. He glanced down to see her face filled with pleading.

"What is it?"

"These photos," Samantha Huntington pointed to the camera in her arms, "can we publish them on our website?!"

Entertainment News Network was the largest and most authoritative online media in the entertainment industry, with the highest daily active users and traffic. Publishing these photos there would have the greatest impact on Sylvia Congreve. Edward Priestley, caught in such a scandalous act with his artist at a formal event, would also be heavily criticized. The plan seemed perfect.

But Oliver Donald responded without hesitation, "No."

A bucket of cold water seemed to pour over her, and Samantha Huntington's face fell. "Why?"

"Too explicit."

"Then what should I do with these photos..."

Muttering to herself, she followed Oliver Donald back to the stairwell. When he suddenly stopped, she stumbled and fell into his arms.

"Distracted, are you?" he said, a hint of displeasure in his voice. "So eager to send them out?"

"Yeah."

Samantha Huntington's vision was blurry, and her voice was soft. Oliver Donald, feeling a bit agitated by her, leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Beg me."
