Chapter fifteen
Ugh. He's sure got some nerves.
"Coming right up." I said with a smile.
A maid was cleaning a table close to where we were and I snapped my fingers so the maid would come to me.
Father had also trained the hirelings to answer that way as well.
That is, whenever they were in the same place as he was.
I've been thinking of having them all replaced but I gave it a thought and figured I won't have enough time with me to train a new batch of hirelings.
"Get him a glass of chilled red wine." I said to the maid."
"I don't want anything." Stark said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
He stood from the sofa and came extremely close to me, so close that our lips almost touched, but I didn't move back.

I bit my lips and I pulled in closer for a kiss. At the verge of giving him a kiss, he pushed me away. "Nothing can ever exist between us." He said and left my office. What was that all about? I went back to my seat and resumed working. After work got over for the day, I drove back home. I entered the bathroom for a shower. My eyes fell on a scarlet coloured nightgown. I knew right away that that was the perfect one. It was light and completely transparent. One that Stark would observe all the curves of my body.

Stark was scratching the back of his head as looked at me hopelessly."Yes?" I said."Well, uh..." Stark replied hesitantly."Well? Out with it." I said."I don't know how it happened but it happened." I opened my eyes slightly and Stark's face was right there. I yawned myself awake after a dime sunlight touched my face.Another morning has arrived. Another day and time for work.The real beginning of my mission. I went back into the dressing room, took off the dress and put on the one I had worn to the mall.I came out and went straight to pay for the gown.I exited the mall and entered my car. I put the dress right on top of the seat next to me in the car.With all the happiness, I left the mall premises.All the way home, while I was driving, I could only think of Stark's reaction when he would see me in that dress.Or what his facial expression would be once he set eyes one me as I approach him.The gown even let my curves shine.I reached home and I parked my car. I alighted from the car and proceeded into my house.It's six thirty five now.I kept the package on my bed and went in for a bath.After the bath I did other things to prepare and the I put on my new outfit.I felt so confident in it.I took a look at myself in the mirror just one more time and I blew my reflection a kiss.

I reached my house and I parked my car carelessly. I got out and then slammed the car shut before locking it.I walked furiously towards my house and I almost tripped on something. Then I went back and kicked it.Unfortunately for me, what I had kicked was a rock fixed to the earth.It hurt so bad.I staggered angrily to my door, it was raining heavily on my body, l managed to unlock my door.Shit!I slammed the door behind me and threw my purse on the sofa.I hate this!I picked up the purse from the sofa and then walled up the stairs to get to my room.On getting to my room.
