Brit is crazy, I tell y'all. The Cabin? Now she's tryna murder someone. Oh my God.
"Brit, that wasn't cool at all. You can't just go around threatening people."
"Mmm, sure I can. I just did."
"I'm telling you, watch it."
"Or else what? Pussy."
"I pretty sure you don't wanna test me."
"Oh yes I am."
"Okay, you guys should just stop. Brit is all scary and shit, but angry Matt is much more scary. I guess it's true what they say—the most playful ones are the scariest when they're angry. Or whatever."
Matt shot me a look that was half amused, half threatening. I decided to keep my mouth shut after that.
Anyways, back to what we're here for.
"Yeah, where does the douche hang out?" Matt asked, cracking his knuckles like he was about to go to war.
"The gym," I said, giving them a duh look. They still seemed confused though.
"Captain of the baseball team?" Brit asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Baseball? Do you even like baseball?" Matt scoffed.
"The things we do for love. Well, at least it's a sport. I couldn't go for regular."
"Look where it got you," Brit muttered under her breath.
"Heyyyy!"
"Enough talking. Let's move," Matt commanded, and for once, even Brit listened.
We got to the gym safely. So much for my sibs being popular and whatnot. The hallways were eerily quiet, and I could feel the stares burning into the back of my head. Everyone was probably still recovering from my princess entrance earlier. Little did they know, the real show was about to begin.
Bang!! There went the door. So much for the dramatic entrance.
And there they were. The adulterous couple, acting all lovey-dovey like they hadn't just shattered my world a few days ago. Davis had his arm wrapped around Sandra's waist, and she was giggling at something he said. Disgusting.
Sob. There goes me. Let the show begin.
They weren't the only people there, but anything for my revenge. No remorse. It's like they were trying to rub it in, parading around like they were some power couple. Davis didn't even have the decency to look guilty. If anything, he looked... proud.
Everyone in the gym froze when they saw us. Not just scared—terrified. Their faces were pale, their eyes wide. Some of them even started backing away slowly. I nearly fell though—Brit had to hold me up. My legs felt like jelly, but I couldn't show weakness. Not now. Not in front of him.
"There they are!" I cried out, pointing a trembling finger at the happy couple.
Oh look, what we have here. It's poor old Davis.
Davis turned around, and for a split second, I saw something flash in his eyes. Panic? Regret? No—it was annoyance. Like I was interrupting his precious little date. Sandra clung to his arm like a lifeline, her stupid hair twirled around her finger like she didn't have a care in the world.
"Ariana," Davis said, his voice dripping with fake concern. "What are you doing here?"
"What does it look like, you cheating bastard?" Matt stepped forward, his voice low and dangerous. I'd never seen him like this before. His usual playful demeanor was gone, replaced by something cold and calculating.
"Whoa, whoa, let's all calm down," Davis said, raising his hands in surrender. But I could see his eyes darting around the room, looking for an exit. He was scared. Good.
"Calm down?" Brit laughed, and it was the most terrifying sound I'd ever heard. "You broke my sister's heart, cheated on her, made her feel worthless, and you want us to calm down?" That question accompanied by a heavy punch that sent Davis stumbling backward.
"Look, I didn't mean—"
"Didn't mean what? To get caught?" I finally spoke up, my voice steady now. The trembling was gone. In its place was something colder. Sharper. "You said I wasn't good enough. You said I was useless. You made me feel like I was nothing. And then you paraded around with her like I never existed."
Sandra scoffed, twirling her hair again. "Maybe if you weren't so crazy, he wouldn't have—"
Before she could finish, Matt was in her face. "Finish that sentence. I dare you."
Sandra shrunk back, her confidence evaporating instantly. Davis tried to step in, but Brit blocked him with a single glare.
"Here's what's going to happen," Brit said, her voice eerily calm. "You're going to stay away from my sister. You're going to pretend she doesn't exist. And if I ever see you near her again—" She paused, letting the threat hang in the air. "Let's just say you'll be visiting the cabin."
The color drained from Davis's face. Even Sandra looked terrified. I knew what the cabin was, but I was starting to think I didn't want to find out.
Davis nodded frantically, grabbing Sandra's hand and pulling her toward the exit. But before they could leave, I stepped forward.
"Davis," I called out, my voice dripping with authority.
He turned, his eyes wide with fear.
"You made a big mistake. You think breaking up with me was the worst thing that could happen to you? No. The worst thing is that you had me. And you lost me. And now you have to live with that."
I smiled, and for the first time in days, it felt genuine. It wasn't a performance. It wasn't a mask. It was real.
"I hope she's worth it. Because trust me—what you had with me? You'll never find that again."
And with that, they fled like the cowards they were.
Matt, Brit, and I stood in the middle of the gym, surrounded by stunned onlookers. No one said a word. No one dared.
"Now that's how you handle trash," Matt said, slinging an arm around my shoulder.
Brit smiled, her earlier fury melting into something softer. "You okay, little sis?"
I nodded, and for the first time in days, I actually meant it. "I'm better than okay. I'm me again."
Because that's who I am. Ariana Kings. The Reaper's Angel. And I don't break. I don't beg. I rise.

A/N Yes, I know I'm late. But I came back with DRAMA. 😏 What do you think? Did Ariana get her revenge? Is Davis gone for good? Let me know in the comments! And don't forget to vote! 🖤

ArianaThe whispers followed me like a shadow.Every step I took through the hallway, heads turned. Eyes widened. Voices dropped to hushed murmurs. The gym incident had spread like wildfire, and now everyone knew exactly what happened to Davis and his little side piece.Good. Let them talk. I'm still yet to talk to my friends about what really went down I was still riding the high from that moment—the look on Davis's face when Brit punched him, the way Sandra shrunk back when Matt got in her face, the satisfying sound of their footsteps as they fled like cowards. I hadn't felt this powerful in days. But then I turned the corner and saw him.Tristan Hales. Leaning against my locker like he owned it. Like he owned me.My stride didn't falter. I wasn't about to let him see me hesitate."Well, well," I said, stopping a few feet away. "If it isn't my favorite stalker. Should I get a restraining order, or are you just naturally this obsessed?"Tristan didn't laugh. He didn't even smirk.Th

*Tristan*"Bro, all my body aches from all those training sessions. The coach isn't really giving us space. We barely have enough time to go to the dungeon. I'm starting to wonder if that sport was even worth it," Derek asked lazily as usual."You're just making up excuses for being a pussy," I interpreted."Exactly, but he's also right. We've barely had enough time to visit the dungeon all in the name of after-school sport training," Eric reasoned."See? At least Eric supports me on this," Derek smiled smugly like he just won a lottery."I really don't," Eric said as a matter of fact.Ha. Eric never lets him rejoice, and as expected, Derek nearly exploded."I always knew you hated me," Derek said, almost on the verge of tears."Good. I almost thought I was sending off the wrong message.""Come on, dude, just let Derek be Derek."We were heading out from the locker room, and yes—we were at school before school hours. That coach is really something."Is it just me, or does everyone see
*Ariana*"Wakey wakey," Matt cooed, slapping my cheeks."Ughh.. 20 more minutes," I said, rolling around in the sheets."You know, any other typical teenagers would have begged for 5 minutes more, but here you are demanding 20 minutes more. Don't be greedy—get your ass up.""Well, that's Ariana Kings for ya. And we all know I'm not a typical teenager.""Are you bitc- I mean peaches—still in bed? Get your asses up before I make you," Brit roared. Now that did get me out of bed. Why, you may ask? 'Cause I knew Brit wasn't joking when she said that—trust me."Thanks, Brit. I couldn't have done it without you," Matt sighed."I know, you've always been a wussy," she said with a smile."Evilll! Evill!" Matt yelled, pointing fingers.
*Ariana*I don't think I really remembered how I got home, but all I knew was that I was so damn exhausted. And guess what? (Dramatic pause) I was on my bed actually crying. And no, it wasn't the kind where you go looking for a freaking mirror to look how cute you are. No, in this case, you don't really need it 'cause you know you already look like a freaking ghost with spider-web eyes. To put it simply—I'm a mess. Actually.I don't know why I'm feeling this way, but I think maybe it's because Davis was the only person who knew me as my real psychotic, crazy self and chose to love me for who I was. But apparently, I was wrong. And as much as I'd hate to admit it, that hit me so hard. Yeah sure, maybe everyone does love me, but not when I'm the real me. It just feels like everyone wants me to be so perfect, and school was like the place I could just be free and...I heard a knock on my door. Dang it, my thoughts were interrupted just when I was in the mood to be vulnerable. Guess it's
*Tristan*I kept staring at Ariana the entire lunch. There was just this feeling that something was really going on. I know it's not really my business, but I just wanted to know. It was eating at me in a way I couldn't explain. Every time I looked away, my eyes found their way back to her. She looked... different. Less fierce. Less like she was ready to burn the world down. More like she was barely holding it together."Yo, why do you keep staring at Ariana?" Eric asked, breaking through my thoughts."How 'bout you mind your own business?" I shot back, not even bothering to look at him."Well, doesn't seem like what you're doing," he said, not giving up. Derek snickered beside him, clearly enjoying the show."How about I make you then?" I said, challenging him with a raised brow."Whoa, someone seems off... Well, let's discuss the m
