Chapter 17 – Becoming A Packmember
ZARA
A sound woke me up. I was still in a sleeping Aiden’s arms. I looked beside me and saw dad and grandpa were sleeping, but Zach was awake, having his eyes locked on something or someone. I gently removed Aiden’s arm and sat up, and saw that it was Alpha Chase; Zach was keeping an eye on. However, when my eyes fell on Alpha Chase, his eyes were locked onto Aiden and me, hatred burning in his eyes.
Zack noticed me waking up and smiled at me. I smiled back and went to sit next to him.
“Morning, sis.” He grinned.
“Morning, Brother,” I answered, making him smile even bigger. He hugged me, and I relaxed.
“We will reach home today. Dad wants us to run the rest of the way today.” Zach tells me, and I nod my head.
“I am nervous,” I admit.
“Why?” he asks, surprised.
“What if she gets disappointed?” I say.

ZARA Aiden took my hand and we walked up the stairs to the second floor, to show me around. Having my hand in his feels good and makes me relax. “There are 3 bedrooms on this floor a private TV room and a small kitchen for small snacks drinks in the fridge stuff like that,” Aiden tells me as we are walking between the doors. He walks into the TV room and I look around, the room has a couch that looks soft to sit in and a huge TV on the wall. “We can change everything some will have it the way we would like. Colors on walls, furniture, and whatever you would want to change. And this counts for every room here, I want you to feel good here and feel safe.“ Aiden continues and I turn around and look at him. “I think we should decide together,” I tell him and he smiles at me. “I would love that.” He says and kisses my temple before he takes my hand and we leave the room. He shows me the small kitchen before walking towards the last 4 doors. He opens the first door and we walk inside.
