Chapter 31 - Zoey's Arrival

‘Liam!’ I felt Laura opening our mindlink.

‘Yes, baby?’

‘My water broke.’ She tells me, making me almost tilt my desk when I stand up to rush upstairs.

You would think I, by now, would be used to this. I mean, I was there when the twins were born, and then later Xander. But no, I am just as stressed as I was the first time.

I reach our room, finding Laura on the couch, panting in pain. One look and I see that her water surely did break. I hurry over to her and scoop her up into my arms before rushing down the stairs.

“XANDER, ZACH,” I Yell as I am getting downstairs, and it doesn’t take long before they are coming down the stairs, making me realize they probably were in their rooms.

“What’s going on, dad?” Xander asks.

“Your mom’s water broke. Get her back and come to the hospital.” I demand not waiting for a response
