Chapter 25 – Marking

“Mark me.” She whispers.

I look at Zara, shocked. I know we talked about it while still on the run. And she had agreed, but I also know from the stories gold how intimate it can be, so I chose not to pressure her about it. I knew Laura and Zara had talked about it because Zara was never told anything about it. But here she stands, as beautiful as ever, asking me to mark her.

“Zara, are you sure? I don’t want you to do this because of Mel or feel pressured to do it.”

“I want to, but I am not ready for it, you know, so I understand if you don’t want to mark me, I won’t be angry. She whispers and looks down to the floor.

‘Don’t make mate sad.’ Zeus growls in my head.

‘I don’t want to make her sad. But marking her. I am scared ill loose control, Zeus. I don’t want to hurt her.’ I tell him.
