Chapter 51
“This is ridiculous! How could so many people be supporting the scumbag prince?” She was ready to tear the book to shreds along with her hair at the sheer frustration of it all. Alastair’s supports were zero to nothing or they were when he ascended the throne anyway. As of right now she knew he had the support of the Enflada’s and the Wolfe dukedom. But that wasn’t nearly enough to help him survive the Cold War of these factions. The other three dukedoms were the Silvers, Jewels and the Crotinas.

Chapter 52
The Wolfe family gardens were lovely, the area itself was far off from the Capital and the air seemed much fresher and clearer. It was an area famous for the different crops it produced. The agriculture was more advanced here than any other area. It was for a split second, because she thought she heard a grunt a ways off but she was wrong and continued. She hoped she was anyway.

When the finally backed away, they had then bought out bags upon bags of jewels and money and again, she refuted, more flustered this time as her eyes lusted after the sparkly jewels. “I don’t need anything since it was my job as a command of the emperor. So I’m not the one you should be thanking”, she gave an awkward smile noticing the conflicted faces of the Jewel Duke and Duchess. The hands that readily help ba

He didn’t glance at her at all and judging from his silence he wasn’t happy.  When he finally moved his lips to speak he still wasn’t staring at her. “Dirt”, Alexis frowned when she heard the nickname she thought was long gone. She thought

He gestured to the large door, leaving her to go the rest of the way on her own. Something she hadn’t expected. “You’re not coming?” She quietly whispered, a look of despair on her face. Agathus just shook his head and pushed her large frame forward. Her nose barely avoided smushing against the door as s
