Mia POVI dropped Liam off at home. My new housekeeper comes to collect him on the front porch0 Today is her first day.Miss Ronna Winton is a 40-year-old lady that has no children of her own. On her resume, she said she could cook and clean. It so happens that it is exactly what I need. When I told her about Liam she was only too happy to look after him after school.I made the choice to hire a housekeeper after Ava told me she has become increasingly busy with the wedding. I understand that. She took over the weddings from me when I started back at work.I walked into the pub and greet everyone that I passed by. This is what I love about this job. Everyone is friendly and we all get along great. It is almost like we are a little family.I made my way to the dressing area. All I had to do this evening is my make-up. There is no theme tonight.I did a pink eye-shadow to compliment the dress that I have on. The dress is light pink with bright

Grayson POVIt has been a week since Mia has spoken to me face-to-face. She doesn't even come to the cafe anymore. She avoids me in every aspect of her day.I even went to her work. She doesn't even look at me. Almost like she is disgusted with me.I am laying on my bed looking up at the ceiling. I just wished I knew what I did wrong. I have been over our conversation a million times and the only thing I can come up with is that she thinks I am either too young or too rich. My phone rings and I see that it is my mom."Hi, mom. I am sorry to inform you that I still haven't made more progress on Mia.""No, son listen. You need to come home. It is not going great with your grandfather." I can hear the urgency in her voice. Something is seriously wrong."What is wrong with him?""He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is already at stage 4. There is nothing that they can do for him. The doctors said we need to say good-b

Grayson POVI have been home for a month. I stopped all communication with Mia as soon as I stepped off of the airport at home.Spending time with my family has taken my mind off of Mia. If only for a little while. I have a sit-down dinner with my mother. I decided to spend some time with her.I made a reservation for us at one of the 5-star restaurants in town. It is a pretty fancy place. My mom loves dressing up and that is why I picked this restaurant. The place's name is Fantasia. As the name suggests it has a fantasy theme. It looks like you walk into a castle. They even make you feel like a king and a queen."Mom, are you ready yet? We are going to be late." I scream up to my mom. She walks out of the room."Hold your horses. Perfection takes time."I lead my mom to the car. It didn't take that long to arrive at the restaurant. We were led to the back. This restaurant has tables in small glass rooms. Each table gets its ow

Grayson POVI made my way to the training grounds. Today Uncle Edward is going to do some tests with the soldiers.About 10 years ago my father agreed that the females of the pack should also be trained. This has been the best decision that my father has made thus far. Some of the females have proved to be better soldiers than the males. I have nothing against women. They can be strong and independent.I stand on the sideline. They are currently busy sparring against each other. I can see some strong soldiers. I know that the soldiers have been placed into different age groups. There is a group for 8-10, 11-15, 15-18 and then there is the 18+ group. Now the 18+ group is usually our soldiers that we take into battle. The rest of the kids only learn how to fight so that if the time comes that they can protect themselves.Uncle Edward came towards me."So, what do you think?" My uncle asks folding his arms over his chest."This is

Grayson POVThings have calmed down a bit since my grandfather passed away.  Things have officially gone back to normal. Since the day I have set foot back in the packhouse I have felt some eyes on my back. I figured I was just a bit paranoid, but it is starting to happen more and more.It has been 2 months since I left Mia in her hometown. Ernouf is still not speaking to me. Believe me, I have tried every day to get him to come back, but he is stubborn. It is time for me to go back and figure out what the hell has happened? There has to be an explanation. Problems just don't appear out of thin air.My flight leaves in 10 minutes. My fear of flying has finally calmed down now that I have been in the air a few times.I make myself comfortable and retrieve into my own mind. I hope I can finally get Ernouf to come back."Ansiel, where is Ernouf?""He is still there in the corner sulking." Ansiel
