Ana did not think she had ever felt so excited after a date. There was a smile on her face, and if it got larger, she was probably going to tear her jaws open. She wanted to see him again. It was weird because he had only just dropped her off. But she was still craving his presence. It wasn’t that the man was perfect. He definitely wasn’t. But she wasn’t looking for perfect. Ana didn’t know what she was looking for but this man had managed to make her taken with him so much. She loved being around him.Ana let out a sigh and dropped the smile from her face, even though it was hard to do so. Then the thoughts started creeping up on her and she settled into her couch. She did not bother turning the lights on. The more she thought about everything, the more her mood dropped. And even the thought of Jack could not bring the smile back to her face. Her thoughts… the thoughts. She was thinking about her best friend and about how cold he was now. He still had not returned any of her calls,

"So it's done? He's accepted the deal?" Jack asked after they spent an hour and a half talking to the head of the first that was supposed to invest in their company. "Yeah. You knew he would," Lucy said with a smirk, looking at Jack with bright eyes. 

Standing in front of the door was Jack. Ana looked at him with an annoyed look on her face and turned her head away. He had a smug smile on his face and Ana was tempted to slap it off. "Good morning–" Jack started but Ana was quick to interrupt him. 

 They had reached. The house looked kind of familiar and Ana couldn't really place it. She frowned. Why had he brought her here? And what kind of surprise did he have for her? Here? 

"You're still coming over right?" Ana asked Jack, twirling her hair around her finger. Yes she was getting attached to him, but it was normal. They had known each other for a short while but every opportunity they got, they were together. "Yeah, of course. Unless you don't want me to?"
