Lahat ng Kabanata ng Remembering the forgotten : Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Because we are about to leave the country in three days, Ethan asked me to bond with him for the whole day. And since I am free and loves to grant his wish, we went to Intramuros, one of the famous tourist spots in the country. A lot of people were strolling around with their family and friends which somehow makes me feel sad because Barack wasn't with us. However, Ethan was still having fun especially when he rode on the Kalesa.

The announcement was like a que of a marathon where Ethan was our finish line. I suppose Blake was heading to the same place I am going to but I wish not. However, he wasn't stupid of not to think and be curious of a lost kiddo with as name as his. I heaved a deep breath and tried to erase the thoughts running on my mind.  I was one floor away to my son's location with

It's already late in the evening when I decided to check on my son before I go to bed. Earlier today, when we arrived at the hotel, the three of us talked that no one would tell anything to Barack. We will just let the moment pass and after this, we will forget everything. I mean, I'm not being dishonest to my fiance but I just wanted to be at peace. It's better that he would know nothing about us— Blake, Ethan and I.  I reached the cold steel door knob as soon as I found my son's room and twisted it open. What welcomed me was a young man happily playing with his new toys. A smile suddenly made its way to my lips while stepping my foot towards his direction.  "Still up? Aren't you getting tired for the whole day?" I asked before plopping myself on his bed.  He turned his head to meet me. "I love these toys, mom! Dude really is a nice guy because he brought everything that we like! And t

Blake’s Point of View    Amber had been my life since we’ve met. She was my childhood best friend and my first love. I even proposed to her when we were seven at their wide garden where we usually play. However, a day after, I heard that she and her sister got into accident. That was also the last time that I saw her lovely face. Starting that day, I always get worried, hurt and anxious when I hadn’t saw her for days. I always make a time to peek on their wide metal gate to see if she was already home but years passed by, no Amber-- no Aly, showed up.    I became a shit during my freshmen years. Alcohols, cigarettes, gangs and gang wars have been part of my life but never girls. I didn’t cling with women not until my dad let me transfer a school. Few days of my stay was quite boring as I tried to avoid fights for some reasons making some shit of men conclude that I am a fucking gay. Thankfully, I was gifted with masculine body and

The bumper to bumper traffic tested my patience a lot. The usual fifteen to twenty minutes ride became almost an hour and a half because of rush hours and road interruptions. I texted my son’s phone immediately when we arrived at the condominium, waiting in the lobby. I decided to wait him here to avoid long chats with Blake and waste time as Barack was waiting us in the hotel. A minute after I sent the message, my phone beeped.  “Come here upstairs, mom. I am still playing with dude,” it says. I smirked and typed my response. “Don’t use your scheme on me, Blake. My son doesn’t know how to read and type. Bring him here because your extended time is up.” Ethan doesn’t know how to read properly at his young age. He prioritized his play but he thinks very mature than a usual five-year-old kid. The only reason why I put phone on his bag was that for emergency and he can ask someone to read my
