Noah sighed. He's been waiting in the car for a while and still no sign of Sean. He waited for some time, counting to ten but still he didn't show up. "Ugh!" Noah exclaimed getting out of the car and slamming the door. He walked towards the building getting past security and heading into the main hall. There was a lot of shuffling around in the big hall, he was startled. He looked around and saw different people dressed in work clothes. All he needed to do was find out which floor his father had gone to. He walked up to a man in a crisp white tuxedo sitting at the edge of his desk glancing at his computer. He was typing furiously at his keyboard. "Hello, Mister, please which is Mr. Durango's o

"Calm the fuck down!" "Don't tell me to fucking calm down when grandpa is at his nonsense scheming again!" Dante growled at Leo. "What's with all the ruckus?" Lee asked stepping into the sitting room where Dante continued his endless pacing. Lee's eyes widened in surprise when they landed on the woman standing before them, her box in hand. "Oh!" Lee exclaimed nodding his head in understanding. "Don't give me that look I don't want to be here as much as he doesn't want me," Sophie shrugged plopping down on the sofa. It's been barely three days after his grandfather's text message and now he has sent her here to torment him.

The constant beeping of his phone kept reminding him that he would be in a lot of trouble if he doesn't reply to the messages. "Who's texting you?" Noah asked Sean in an irritated voice. He was in Sean's car heading towards the cliff where his sister fell. Dante's car was in front leading them and he was not speeding up while Sean was having a hard time catching up to him because of his damn beeping phone. "Don't talk to me in that tone, boy!" Sean snarled at him. Sean was at his wit-end and he was still trying to get himself together, explaining himself wasn't part of that. Noah frowned looking away. All he needed was to see his sister alive and he wouldn't give two shits about the rest of th

Lisa Durango was not known for her patience that was why her two adopted children gave her a weird look as they stared at her across the dining table. "Mom, are you feeling alright?" The first adopted child, Ava asked concern shining in her sea-green eyes. Lisa smiled at her adorable twelve years old daughter. She was an epitome of beauty and that was one of the reasons she had adopted her at the orphanage eight years ago. Lisa had seen her full potentials when she had stared into the sea-green eyes with black curly hair reaching down to her waist. Her slim figure at the age of ten wasn't from malnutrition but Lisa could see a model body. She had a charming smile that day and she displayed her white set of teeth with a gap in the middle, her arched br

"What do you think, dad?" Sean blinked and looked around frowning when his gaze met four curious people peering at him. "What?" He eyed them curiously. Noah shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips."Mom was asking you a question." "Oh, what did she say?" Sean asked sitting up in his seat. He was slouching over when his mind had gone into the state of overdrive. "I told you dad wasn't paying attention," Daniel roared like he just won a trophy. "Hurray! An achievement," Ava replied dryly. "Sean?" Lisa gave him a questioning look.&

"It's not okay!" Sean sighed and reclined on his chair wiping his brow for the tenth time today as perspiration ran down his forehead. The air conditioner was working perfectly but the lady before him was a hindrance to the damn air conditioner. "It's not okay, Mr. Durango," she cried again, "You don't know what it feels like to be cheated on." He sighed again and wiped off the sheen of perspiration that had formed on his forehead. He swallowed the bile that had risen in his throat. "I don't," he mumbled. She nodded. "Good, then let me cry in peace and don't tell me it's okay."

"I did it!"Dario chuckled deeply as he stared at the excited face of Natalie screaming at the top of her lungs. She was standing on her own without the support of the clutches after trying for almost a month.Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Trish stepping out of the house her eyes filled with admiration as she stared at Natalie."Guess all your training finally paid off," Trish smiled at her.Natalie nodded but didn't jump the way she wanted. Her ankles were still sore but they could lead her around for a while before she would have to rest them. She had no intention of exhausting her energy on jumping with joy no matter how refreshing that thought felt."It did, Trish. Sean dabbed at his eyes as the couples left, his mind doing ten to twenty flip-flops while he thought of all the things that were wrong with what they did so he wouldn't be tempted to grab Brenda and haul her off to have a romantic evening. Suddenly, his right hand began to twitch and shake. He sighed and grabbed his suitcase suddenly remembering it was in his drawer.  He worked faster using his left hand to grab open the drawer thereby spilling its contents on the ground, the drawer crashing to the ground. His door flew open instantly and he sighed. Claire sure knew how to make an unexpected appearance. "Claire," he began. "Here sir, what do you need?" She was at his side immediately bending to pack up the drawer contents. "Let it be, girl," he chuckled waving her off. Claire gave him a puzzled look but nodded then said immediately.

Natalie's head was spinning as she tried to understand everything that was going on. Her father had saved Noah when there were people out to kill him all because of her. Maybe he wasn't so bad any longer because of him, her brother hadn't died on the streets or in the hands of Jared and Xavier. Her thoughts drifted back to her mom's motionless body and how she had returned to the house to see if her father had come to save them but still nothing. He said he was kidnapped, a tiny voice piqued in her mind. She sighed. She had no proof that what he had said was true and yet she wanted to believe him, she wanted to cling desperately to that hope that he wasn't so bad after all. "I will be the father you've always wanted, Natalie I'm so sorry," he was saying. Her heart broke for him. This was the first time he was speaking to her in a broken voice, he was on the v
