Cora felt herself die.She felt every last piece of life slip away from her till she finally felt nothing.All she could see and feel was darkness.And the pain.Hot blinding pain that racked through her body at an impossible speed.Low growls that emerged from her mouth was muffled by the water. Cora's muscles began growing and growing till they started twisting at unusual angles and every time she opened her mouth to scream, she was hit with freshwater.  Her bones were breaking and crumbling painfully but they were moving, shifting, and growing taller and thicker beneath her skin.  White hairs began to sprout from the pores along her entire body at a rapid rate.

Cora's father's words brought commotion and confusion to everyone in the court. There was a lot of murmuring for a long time before the members of the council called for order.  "Explain yourself!  After the Council and everyone else had dispersed, Noah and Cora had plans of their own. It didn't take much convincing for her parents to let her go, after all they were still reeling from all the excitement of the day and had much to discuss with the pack elders. If they wanted to find Everett, they had to follow Principal Claude, Noah insisted as he told Cora about how he had found out Everett was working for the Principal. Epilogue. Three Months Later.  Everything was back to normal. It had been three months after all that had happened. Cora still remembered it all as if it were yesterday.  That was how unforgettable each moment had been to her.  After they found Everett it had taken a very long time for him to recover.
