Epilogue.
Three Months Later.
Everything was back to normal.
It had been three months after all that had happened. Cora still remembered it all as if it were yesterday.
That was how unforgettable each moment had been to her.
After they found Everett it had taken a very long time for him to recover. His injuries ran deeper than they thought.
Principal Claude and his cronies had tortured him a lot, almost to the point of death. Cora was so grateful that he had survived.
If they had as much as delayed in picking him up, he would have died.
Unfortunately for them Principal Claude went scot
Bronx, New York. 28th of October. Viola Hawkins hated her life. Most days she wished that she could just leave and go somewhere far away. Everyday was complete and utter misery for her, one way or the other, life always found a way to make things worse for her. She didn't even find life to be the least bit exciting. What was there to be excited about? Her life was hell. Most of the time she imagined leaving and going somewhere bright and sunny where there was beach, sand and freedom. Somewhere with fresh air and freedom and far away from her cruel reality. But her dreams were on
With a gun to her neck and his large fingers digging into her arm, Damien led a submissive Viola into a house that seemed to be in the outskirt of the city. What he planned to do with her she had no idea. There was so many things she didn't know about Damien. But she did know that whatever he dealt with was shady.Shady business that shouldn't be dealt with. He was the kind of person Suzie would be attracted to.She tried to be strong but her resolve was crumbling fast, she knew the horrible things he was going to do to her.He was a monster and he wanted her.She knew what happened to girls like her. She had been lucky enough to escape the orphanages without being rape
A few members of the Deum Belli had arrived as soon as they heard the news. They were always one of the first to arrive at the crime scene, before the police was notified, especially when it had to deal with a werewolf.Every night of the full moon they regularly patrolled the forests and the woods where werewolves were more likely to raid. It was rare for a werewolf to lose control on a full moon, but it wasn't uncommon and in the human world they had to do their best to keep everything secret at any cost. One of them had picked up the scent of blood from a mile off and they had followed the scent and it led them to a horrible sight.Ross Michaels looked around again and frowned. He was trying very hard to piece together all that had happened.&nb
Alpha Superior Eli didn't have a reason to be nervous. No, he didn't. Not after he had lived for years. But the mere thought of having an illegitimate daughter, seeing her again made him extremely nervous. He had received the news, hazy reports of a Lycan who had killed five human men who happened to be traffickers. The men had chosen not to go into details because of how gruesome the story had been. And he, well he didn't think it was necessary to mention what happened to his family.Yet.She would be perceived as a threat to the Alpha throne by his other children. And of course, he would soon receive a probe for having a child with a human woman. How could he forget Delilah, she was th
"My father?!"She asked perplexed as she shifted in her bed.She had no father and that was the truth. It was a truth she had held dear for years. Her father had abandoned her and her mother claimed to not have remembered him.Why now? Why was he here?"I'm sorry. You must be mistaken.""You see... I have no father."She replied and the man sighed. He was a very strange looking man.He was old, but he clearly showed little signs of aging, she couldn't tell his age, but she believed that he should be a little above fifty.
An entire new world. In earth, but not on earth. Another dimension. One that was unknown to her and millions of other humans.Visible to only the wolves that it was created for.And the only way of coming in and going out was through a magical gate called The Veil. And it was technically invisible to the eyes of both humans and werewolves alike. But at least geographically, the location of the Veil still seemed to be somewhere on the US map. On a huge forest reserve. It was fascinating as well as awkward.Viola had never heard such before. So many things
Rosaline had not been to her garden in years. It used to be her secret haven, till she neglected it. The garden itself reeked of reject. She used to visit the garden anytime she was lonely, unsafe or feeling unsure about something. The last few years she had found solace in something else and didn't have any use for it anymore.Since she also rarely let anyone except her and a few appointed servants tend to the garden, it became forgotten when she abandoned it.It was overgrown with grass, weeds and wild flowers and thick shrubs covered almost every part of the garden. The apple tree was meant to be the jewel of the garden. The way Rosaline planned it they would be drinking in the a
"This is where you'll live now. This will be your new home."Alpha Superior Eli said to Viola as they both stood in front of the pack house. He patted her gently while the guards stared at her suspiciously.Something about her smelled off to them. She smelled human. A human among their midst? It was preposterous.Viola was still feeling a little sore and tired from all the running. They had run all the way from the Council Building to Ortus Solis, their pack territory. In their wolf form. She thought he was kidding when he had told her they were going to have to run to get home like most wolves did.She thought he was kidding when he started removing his clothes and she had to quickly look away. She only turned to look at him when she heard his low growl. She had never seen his true form, but it was as beautiful as it was monstrous. He was big, that she knew. He was hunched over and even his low growls were powerful
