After the Council and everyone else had dispersed, Noah and Cora had plans of their own.
It didn't take much convincing for her parents to let her go, after all they were still reeling from all the excitement of the day and had much to discuss with the pack elders.
If they wanted to find Everett, they had to follow Principal Claude, Noah insisted as he told Cora about how he had found out Everett was working for the Principal. Aft first she had been confused, why would he spy on her even if he had been ordered to do it. And then she understood better.
