Chapter Fifty One - We got this
Rebecca  I got woken from my sleep with Jake staggering in the front door. He was singing and laughing to himself. I checked the time. It was six a.m. well. He must have had a good night. “Wifey, where you at,” He called out, laughing. I giggled, getting out of bed and going to him. “I am right here, love,” I smile. “Becca!” He says, grinning widely. Jake staggered his way to me, nearly falling, but I managed to grab him. “Did you have a good night?” I laugh. “Yes, but I missed you,” He pouted. He went to reach for a kiss, but I turned away from him. “No chance, you smell of whisky and cigars,” I chuckle, shaking my head. “But I want a kiss,” He groans.

Chapter Fifty Two - Sharing the news
Jake  I was even more nervous now at meeting our parents. It was nerve-racking enough without a damn shaved eyebrow on top of that too. I swear to God, I am going to kill my friends. They had sent me some photos of last night, but I refuse to look at him, not until after this lunch. “You ready for this, my love?” Becca asks, taking a deep breath. “As ready as I can be,” I sigh, slipping my arm around her. We headed into the restaurant, looking around to see if our parents had arrived yet. They were all here. We booked it under my name and told both sets of parents what to say when they arrived. “They seem to be getting along,” I said. They were talking and laughing with each other, all having a drink together. “It would seem that way,” Becca smiled. We

Chapter Fifty Three - Picking a venue
Rebecca Jake and I were spending the day looking at some wedding venues. We had our wedding date, now all we needed was a venue, and then we can work from there. We have a busy few days ahead. Today was wedding venues, tomorrow was house viewings, and then my girls were taking me away on Saturday night to celebrate my marriage. I had no clue what they had planned. They wouldn’t tell me. I know I could trust them, though. They would not do to me what Jake’s friends did to him. “Do you think we will find somewhere today?” I ask as we drive. “I hope so. We see four different places. Surely one will be what we want,” Jake laughs. “Hopefully! And then we can start planning everything else,” I said excitedly. I couldn’t wait to plan our wedding. Yes, I loved how we got married, but it will be good to do it this time properl

Chapter Fifty Four - New Home...
Jake  It has been a crazy couple of months, in the best way possible. Our wedding planning was coming along great. We only had less than two months until our wedding. We found our house too! It was a beautiful three-bedroom house with a secure front garden and a massive back door. It was perfect for us and the ideal place to raise a family when the time comes. We were finally getting moved in because we had all the paperwork signed. The house was officially ours. We have both taken a week of work to get things moved and start on decorating. I was currently at the hardware store getting a few things that we still needed while Becca started the painting. Our friends were coming by to help too, so hopefully, it won’t take too long with us all working together. “Jake?” I hear behind me. It was a voice that I haven’t heard in a while and one I

Chapter Fifty Five - Night before the wedding...
Rebecca It was finally here, well nearly, tomorrow was our wedding. I couldn’t believe it had come around so quickly. I was excited for us to get married again, but this time in front of everyone we loved. We were spending the night apart. It would be strange being away from him. It isn’t something that happens often. We usually spend every night next to each other, but we wanted to do it right. Not only are we spending the night apart, but we haven’t had sex in a week, either, something we both agreed to. I had Paula and Sam staying in my hotel room with me tonight. We had ordered pizza and champagne, having a girlie night. “Are you excited for tomorrow?” Paula gushed. “Yes, I can’t wait to marry him again,” I said brightly. “What are the plans for after? Babies?” Sam asked. &ldquo

Chapter Fifty Six - Ready for it all...
Jake   I was standing, waiting for Becca. I had my two best men next to me, and my mum was sitting in the front row crying, along with Becca’s mum. I could see my father rolling his eyes and trying not to laugh. I wouldn’t expect anything else from either of them. I was nervous, but too much, probably because we were already married. Though my heart was still pounding and my palms still sweating.   I hear the music begin, turning my attention to where my gorgeous wife would be soon enough. The bridesmaids came down first, soon joining my best men and me. And then there she was her dad next to her. She looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress. It was enough to bring a tear to my eye.   “Wow!” I breathe out.   My heart started working overtime. Becca smiled widely at me as she and her dad walked down the aisle. She was soon in front of me. She kissed her dad’s cheek, hugging h

Epilogue - Three years later...
*** Three years later ***   Rebecca   I got woken up with someone bouncing on the bed, a sweet giggle filling the room.   “Mummy, wake up,” Everly shouts.   I couldn’t believe that she was two already. I don’t know where the time has gone.   “Mummy is sleeping,” I laugh.   “Everly, I told you not to bother your mummy,” I hear Jake chuckle.   I turn around to face Everly, and she stops jumping and comes to lay down next to me. I checked the time. It was close to nine a.m. Everly usually wakes up about six a.m., so I am assuming this morning she decided it was her daddy she was wakening up, rather than me.   “It is alright,” I said, smiling up at Jake.   He comes over, laying at the other side of Everly. I loved our time as a family in the morning. All snuggled up in mine and Jake’
