Emerald (Book #1 of the Jewel Series) のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 131 - チャプター 140

Draven It took the girls about a week to get used to owning and running a business. They all overcame their exhaustion and now have no issues with getting up early, dealing with the kids and everything else that life has handed to them. The shop is doing great even though it has only been open now for three weeks. We have found it weird that we have seen more elves around lately. Ever since Leah went back and talked with her father there have been many from her troupe and a few from other troupes showing up in town. Hell, even Leah’s father stopped into the bakery with her and her four kids a few times. Malachi has been in a good mood lately since he and Ms Amy confirmed that she is pregnant. I am not sure how we are going to handle three pregnant women at the same time but I am sure we will get through it somehow. “This is nothing compared to having two pregnant goddesses, Leah, Nymyra, and Mykayla pregnant at the same time. Paisley, Felicity, Liam, Isis and Leighton were al

Devon I was surprised when Callum called that night and spoke with Nate. I really wasn’t expecting him to call at all. I figured if he did call, it would be in a few days to a week. I was also surprised when Nate told me he would bring his mate with him. When Nate told me why he was bringing her, I understood. I would have done the same thing if I was in his shoes. He had won some of my respect when he told Nate that more of those creatures were slinking about. We did send some warriors to check out if what he told Nate was true, and it was. They killed about a dozen of them between here and the city. I made a mental note to talk to Chris about creating a safe zone between here and the city so the women could travel safely to work and back. “Tyler and Draven left to meet them at the location Callum chose,” Nate said. “Good, it should only take them about half an hour to get there and back,” I remark. “I wonder what he has to show us?” Emerald asked. “I don’t know kitte

Emerald The stress level around here has been through the roof. I know Nalena, and I are stressed about running our new shop, but everyone else is about ready to explode. I made a comment to Persephone yesterday that everyone is biting each other’s heads off from all the stress. She said she would take care of it. Devon and Nate have been walking, well more like stomping, around the packhouse for the last two weeks. I can tell they are stressed out, and so can everyone else. I thought they were going to take Tyler’s head off the other day. Hell, they even snapped at Mykenzie and Kylani the other day. I really don’t think they realized who they were snapping at until they growled back at the boys. That snapped them out of their irritated haze quickly, and they apologized even more quicker. “Kitten where are you?” I heard Devon yell. “I the bathroom. I’ll be out in a minute.” I yelled back. I smiled as I slipped on the sheer babydoll and matching g-string. I have every i

Dax Emerald is up to something. She has been acting weird for the last week ever since Zavian was here. That meeting was hilarious. I kinda felt sorry for Zavian, but I can admit that those two scare the fucking crap out of me. Rye even told me and Jax that was just a sample of what they can be like when they are pissed. Chris and the guys told us about and showed up what can happen when his sisters are pissed. We saw what happened to those fuckers that kidnapped Jordyn, Dominick, and Xaydyn when they were little. Those assholed deserved everything they got but to see it made me realize that there is a very valid reason to be terrified of those two. I watch as Emerald hands the three terrors off to Tylynn as she and Nalena leave for their shop. “Do you think she is planning something?” Jax asked. “Yes, I do think she is planning something. I wouldn’t be surprised if Nalena knows what is going on.” I answer. Jax nods his head in agreement. After several long talks Emera

Nate I should have known she was planning something but with everything going on this last week or so. Looking back now nothing was out of the norm for her to do. She was taking care of our three little terrors and running the shop along with Nalena. Devon did make the comment that she and Nalena had been doing a lot of shopping lately but I thought it was for the shop. I sit here looking through the credit card statements but there is nothing. She must have paid with cash for anything she bought. “How long has she been gone?” Ryan asked. “We all went to bed last night. I hadn’t seen her this morning after getting up before her.” Devon says. “We thought that she was just at the shop. When Tyler came back and asked where Emerald was we both thought he was crazy. We figured that she was in the back doing something and that he just didn’t see her.” I add. “I only noticed about an hour ago when I went looking for her in our room that her backpack was gone. I also found a
