I sat back and watched the scene unfold with Nalena on my lap. I had a hand on her stomach. Emerald had gotten a hold of Zavian, and he had come back as soon as he was able. We were now all packed into the boardroom. Zavian was sitting in one of the chairs against the back wall when Mykenzie, Kylani, and Chris walked in. That’s when everything got really interesting. Zavian was being held against the wall by one of the girls. I am guessing they are using their powers since they are not touching him. A bunch of growling is happening, and it is not one of us. Kaleb, Dustin, Rye, Marcus, Leah, Blain, and Dimitri walked into the room quickly after Chris yelled for them. Blain had a shit-eating grin on his face, and I could tell Dimitri thought this was hilarious.

“I am going to guess that Mykenzie and Kylani do not like him,” Devon says.
