DIONE is just silently watching the trees they passed by as music is blasting on her ear through the earphone she’s wearing. She’s with her mother, the one who’s driving the car, and her two younger siblings sitting at the back. They’re on their way to their new home. Well, it’s her mom’s long time boyfriend’s house. The two of them are in talks of marrying each other, and the man can’t wait till then. He decided to let them move into his house. Which is a hassle for Dione. She needs to transfer to a new school, adapt to an unfamiliar environment, socialization, and most of all, it’s far from the city. From what she heard, it’s in the countryside where it’s surrounded by forests. But she didn’t disagree with her mom, anyway. TIP-TOEING, Dione can’t still reach the curtain bar holder. When suddenly, she felt someone’s hard chest on her back and helped her put the curtain in its holder. “Let me put it.” It was Jax. After he put it, Dione just got the strength to look back. She was embarrassed earlier because it looks like he is enclosing her in its body. “T-thanks,” Dione sincerely said, can’t look into Jax’s eyes. She doesn’t know why, but his stares to her feels like it burns her. She’s feeling weird just by looking into his eyes. Jax just nodded at her and left her to take care of what he was doing, helping them put their things in their new house. The home’s exterior is a combination of windows, painted board, and mirror-polished stainless steel. It’s spacious even with the four of them, excluding Baron and Jax. Only the noise of Dione’s two siblings makes noise inside the house. They are busy with the placement of their belongings, as well as cleaning.

3: Weird Reactions

DIONE awoke to her siblings arguing on her bed as if she were not sleeping. She covered her face with a pillow because she was still drowsy, but her siblings were really trying to be patient with her. DIONE was left standing at the entrance of the university building. Jax went inside and said he would take something from the locker. He suggested to her to come with him, but she refused and said she would just wait for him. She thought Jax might last even longer if she came along. As she stood there, many people were going in and out, entering the university building. Some would stare at her, perhaps wondering who’s the unfamiliar face at the university is. But no one tried to approach her and ask a question. But just moments later, a group of men were coming out of the building, Dione thought they were varsity players because of the jerseys they were wearing and they were sweaty. DIONE and Jax are currently on their way back to their house. No one has spoken to the both of them since they left the university. Jax got those who harassed Dione arrested, who were immediately attended by two police officers. DIONE just stared at her ceiling as she lay on her bed. It was a rough day for her and Jax. She had already told her mother what had happened earlier at the university. It enraged her mother upon knowing what happened. THE morning came, Dione decided to go into the woods. And she thought of taking Jax with her so that her mother wouldn’t have to worry. 9: Slowly Reaching Out: His Wolf's Cry

HOURS EARLIER… Jax found himself in a familiar room. It’s his room in Conrad Hemmings’ cabin deep in the forest; the scientist who adopted him. Jax got up and left his room. Opposite his room was the scientist’s room and next to him was Peter’s. There is another room at the end, which is a spare room if Baron visits there. Jax knocked on Conrad’s room, but no one answered. He just goes straight to the balcony, where you can pass when going down to the 1st floor. He slides the glass sliding door and goes to the balcony.
