After a few more rounds they fell asleep wrapped up in each other’s arms. Kane rolled over in his sleep reaching for Bridgette but frowned when he found her side cold and empty. He sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He looked around the room and sighed at the quiet. Kane climbed out of the bed and slipped on his underwear. Just hang in there with me as I am working on the next book in the series. The next book will be up soon with more romance, mystery, and intriegue. Bernard will be back with his villianous ways and Margo will be making some appearances here and there as the story follows new characters but helps you understand Bernard and the motives behind what is taking place.
