Kira sat at the kitchen table in Edwin’s apartment and played with the steamed broccoli he’d set before her.  She was beginning to feel the need for the taste of blood. Kira crouched in the corner of the dark cellar while she got her bearings straight after teleporting in.  She was both surprised and pleased to discover that her abilities as a witch had been enhanced since she became a vampire; as did her eyesight and hearing. She found she was able to easily and competently perform spells that confounded her before.A low moan from the opposite side of the dank and dark cellar caught her attention.
