“Why did you do that?” I didn’t look at him and just focused on bandaging his wrist. I lifted my gaze when he didn’t respond. I stared at his sleeping face for a moment before finishing the bandage. “How could we find Bruce?” I racked my head the entire time but I haven’t thought of a place where he possibly gone to. The sun already set and a cold breeze embraced my skin. Every time she strode forward my heart skipped a beat. I gawked behind her. A shadow-like hand appeared and pushed her down the stairs. I caught her with my body but the impact was so strong and sudden that it made me yield backward.
