Chapter 1: Jaxon Azrael

Stella "I DON'T WANT to get married, Stella," Ariela said softly as I fixed her wedding gown. I stopped what I was doing and sighed loudly. When I looked at her, her eyes were full of regret; the pain was visible in her eyes. It was as if she was saying to me that she wanted to run away on this important day. "But, we need a big share of the company now. We're about to sink into debt. Why are you backing down now?" I asked, confused, but instead of answering me, I was surprised at what she did next. Suddenly, she grabbed her stomach and started to cry. "Ariela," I called because I was already worried about her behavior. "Does your stomach hurt?" I asked again, but she shook her head and lifted her face, causing our eyes to meet. "Stella, I'm pregnant." She confessed, and just like a bomb that exploded in my ear on what she said. I just shook my head and laughed softly. Why does it need to happen right now? "Why did you just say that now? What are we going to do?" I was confuse

Chapter 2: First Day

Stella I FOUND MYSELF facing the man that I will marry. I couldn’t help but roam my eyes across his face. The news I heard was correct, the person in front of me today is very handsome. His black round eyes that you want to stare at, his pointed nose, his pinkish lips that suits his face. In a word, he looks like a Greek God. Also, you will be afraid to touch his skin because of its white and smoothness. Hold yourself together, Stella! Don’t be deceived by his handsome face. Don’t admire him too much! But I lost my attention when I heard him laugh. I don't know but I've been staring at him for a long time. So I averted my eyes and just looked at Father who was now just blessing us.

Chapter 3: First Warning

Stella "Hi, good morning!" I happily greeted him when I saw him coming down our stairs so I greeted him with a sweet smile which made him stunned. I want us to be as comfortable with each other. I didn't want to avoid it because it would be even more awkward so I adjusted myself. Jaxon might have a hard time doing that. "Ahm… are you going to work now? Early this morning?" I asked because I saw he was dressed in an office, so he nodded and averted his gaze. So I just nodded and without hesitation, I grabbed his two shoulders and passed him over to the table so we could eat together. I'm used to eating in the morning so I'm surprised because Jaxon seems to be shocked by what he sees now. After all, everything ready in front of him

Chapter 4: The Only Exception

Stella WHAT IF one day Jaxon and I got our marriage revealed? What would happen? What will I do? Will I admit or hide? Of course, I will not hide. As the wife of a private person like Jaxon, I will just be careful with how I act, especially when we go out in public. I don’t know how I would feel if at the time Jaxon and I’s secret was revealed. Maybe, for now, I'll just be really alert. "How's your day?" I just cried out in shock when I saw Jaxon's face when I opened the door of our house. I almost fell but he immediately grabbed my arm and held me tightly. Because of this, my heart started to race. "I'm sorry if I startled you." He calmly said and gently let g

Chapter 5: Taking Risk

Stella I AM AN EXCEPTION TO HIM? But why? I didn't get it. So I adjusted my seat again and looked at him seriously again. I want to know. I want to hear him explain. "Why?" My answer was short and I was almost out of breath when he approached me. With only a little space left, the rest of us will stick together. "Jaxon, I'm asking you. Why am I the only exception?" I asked again but he just stared at me and it moved to my lips. I don’t know but I was nervous at the stares he gave me. "Can I kiss you, Wife?" My brain almost flew at his question. My lips parted in shock and disbelief staring at him. Gosh, what are you saying Jaxon? Instead of answering me, he did this. "What-" I just interrupted when I felt his soft lips on my lips. My eyes widened, my body grew cold. It was as if my soul had fled. Even my heartbeat q

Chapter 6: Surprise

Stella WHAT SHOULD I ANSWER HIM? Until now, I was just stunned and shocked by what he said. It’s also one of the things I dislike most about Jaxon. straight to the point when speaking, he would say what was on his mind. Does its mouth have no brakes? He suddenly startled me! "You're not scared? What if one day everyone finds out? Even if we're doing it now it's dangerous even if it's just the two of us." I said in a nervous tone but he just smiled at me and stroked my cheek again. "I'm also scared, Stella. But I want to give our relationship a try. I don't want us to be awkward with each other." So I blinked hard and sighed loudly. I even bit my lip before speaking again.

Chapter 7: Future

StellaI was moved by what I witnessed and couldn't stop crying. Jaxon abruptly lowered the cake off the small table and walked up to me when I noticed he was perplexed. He asked, concerned, "Stella, why are you crying? Did anything bad happen?," and I shook my head and sniffled before responding.I cried in response, and he hugged me and caressed my back to calm me down. "This is the first time that someone surprised me on my birthday, and you're the first man who did this to me, so I went emotional."I was joking, so he laughed and kissed my forehead. "Thank you, Jaxon. You're bothersome, I'm haggard now and you're going to make me weep. Maybe later I'll be ugly."My heart began to beat faster once more as I was yet again stunned by what he did. To suppress my smile, I bit my lip in secret.Hold it together, Stella. Take care of your heart and yourself. He said that's why I reprimanded him: "You're still lovely to me, Stella. Even if you still cry there, you're still so beautiful."

StellaI was still stated on shocked when I entered our company. I'm just thankful because the photoshoot for the perfume and bag I'm endorsing will be held this afternoon. The manager isn't here yet, maybe he'll wake up late again because he knows my photoshoot will be this afternoon. When I entered the office I just dropped myself on the sofa and leaned. I closed my eyes tightly because to this day I still remember what Jaxon told me. This is the first time I haven’t slept properly today."You're my present and future, Stella.""My Gosh! Calm yourself. Maybe Jaxon will mean something else. Maybe you'll be his future friend, don't expect too much, Stella. You'll end up hurting."I angrily said to myself and rolled around on the sofa. Luckily it was big and I will not fall even if I jump here.Because it's Jaxon, it has a big effect on me to the point I will not properly function. He will say what he has to say.But I just stopped what I was doing when I felt my cellphone vibrate. Wh

Until now he was just staring at me now so I couldn’t help but look at his eyes. His face was so dark that he was ready to take me if anyone tried to take me from him. So I took his hand and spoke."You don't have to be jealous of him, Jaxon. He's my cousin. No one is kidnapping me. Devron is my cousin." I made sure and there his face softened at what I heard. He bit his lip and laughed softly again. I don’t know why he’s laughing. He closed his eyes as if you were holding back on what he could do."I'm sorry, Stella. It just led me to how I feel. I'm just not used to you being with someone other than me. I feel like they can outdo me and make you like them." He said kindly and I just felt that he passed me and locked me in his arms.I close my eyes to what he did. I want to ask why is he jealous? I just want to make sure you’re safe. ” He answered so I couldn't stop smiling and I put my head on his shoulder.“Thank you, Jaxon. Even though I didn’t say you would take me to the airport you still did. You put me before your job. ” I said sincerely so I heard his laugh again.“Because you are my wife, Stella.
