~Elizabeth~ I didn't utter another word, I couldn't think of anything to say. The only thing that my brain could register was David, so briskly, I left my office and Chidima to go to David's.  Walking towards his office, I could see the eyes of others on me, they all knew what was up and some took pleasure at other people's discomfort, especially those that were not happy about David and I being together. So I decided against sending glares at any of them.  I didn't even bother to knock, I just pushed the door open. When the door was wide open, my eyes met with David's. ~Elizabeth~I shuffled around my bed for the umpteenth time, trying to reach for the alarm clock again to press the snooze button. Just when I thought I had reached it, I fell hard to the ground and my body made a thud sound. "Ouch." I pouted lowly as pain jolted in. I stared up at the table clock and then fell backwards to the ground when I realized how late I was. Although I immediately regretted my decision to fall back as the back of my head began to hurt badly. With a loud sigh, I reluctantly got up from the ground and walked towards my bathroom. The ache did not stop banging at the back of my head and even water did not seem to cool it off. The thought of having to go back to work and sit in the almost enclosed room just made my body weak.
