**2 year time skip** *Valerian P.O.V.* I had just turned 16 a few days ago and was utterly surprised when Dad and Mom gave my first car. I was now in my senior year of high school. I stayed in choir through all of my school, but I had also started working out when I was 14. Graduation before New York

**Valerian's P.O.V.** It was finally they day of graduation. I had gone a few days ago to a tattoo parlor and had the signature on my wrist tattooed there. Thanks to Koa I was able to fully heal it by this morning. I had spent the half day at school getting signatures in my year book and giving them. They were mostly from the choir class and teachers, but the entire football team signed it as well thanks to Tommy. **Valerian P.O.V.** It had been 6 months since we moved to New York. I went to school then to my part time job working at a preschool. I loved what I was doing. Then came the week after I turned 17. I was at work when Dad called and told me to come outside quickly. Tommy had been at a fire and was badly injured. I got into Dad’s car and my heart raced as he sped down the road towards the fire. **Valerian P.O.V** I was let off of work early due to my injury, but it gave me plenty of time to get ready for my date with Jax.
