Chapter one - Billy

Thud, thud, thud. "Yes. William. Oh god. Yes, yes." If the rhythmic banging against the wall between mine and my parents room hadn't woken me up, then the feminine voice screeching at the top of her lungs almost certainly would have. Chapter two - Elsie

When I get home from school, the house is empty and I blow out a deep breath, thankful I don't have to make idle chit chat with my mother's latest boyfriend. Bringing up YouTube, I choose a playlist and listen to music while quickly tidying up the house. By the looks of it, my mum hasn't been home since yesterday and I wonder whether she'll be home tonight either. As if she knows I'm thinking about her, my phone bleeps a text. Chapter three- Billy

I've been at Luke's most of this week, he and Shane refused to let me drink anymore after my run in with Aaron, but they did stay home with me that day and we ate a shit ton of food, barely moving from his living room until they forced me to shower and get ready for school the next day. I thought Aurora would be pissed with me after I got Shane into a fight and gave her a mouthful when she dragged me away from the action, but the next day she told me she understood, forgave me and warned me not to make a habit out of it. Then, she started talking about the camping trip we're planning over half term and everyone acted as though I wasn't a drunken mess the day before. My dad is so predictable, all Carrie had to do was bat her eyelids his way and whisper a few compliments and he was hooked. My mum's good mood disappeared with whatever conversation she was having with Billy just now, but she's refusing to speak, her jaw twitching as she drives, her eyes not moving from the road ahead of us."Mum, what's the matter?" Oh balls! I wake up in Billy's room after not meaning to fall asleep. I woke up this morning ready to go again, just to find she'd already snuck out of my bed while I was still asleep. Chapter ten - Elsie

I'm not sure where Laura is, she was meant to meet me in the cafeteria ten minutes ago, but she's yet to appear. Billy and his friends are here though, there's no missing them, they're so loud, laughing and joking around with one another. Our eyes meet across the room and he gives me a smile that reminds me why I wanted him so much last night. I look down and the next moment he's dragging out the chair beside me and resting his feet on it while sitting on the table."Well hey there. If you're on your own you can come sit with us?" He pushes my hair behind my ear and leans down to kiss me. I wasn't expecting that, we may have slept together but I don't know what that means and I definitely didn't expect him to be quite so openly affectionate.
