Xander couldn't recover from what he had heard, he had a frown on his face that show how displeased he was. I moved closer to him and held his hand. I rolled back and forth trying to feel the softness of the bed, it's been so long since I have felt this relaxed. I covered my with the duvet on my bed to share my eyes from the incoming sunlight that was creeping through the window.I was too lazy to get off from bed, infact all week I have been really lazy. Damon had been the one doing all the work, from bringing my early morning breakfast to my lunch and then guiding me down to eat dinner. He was overdoing it and I know. He was doing all this and more since the incident that happened on Friday which was partly my fault, I didn't get harmed but he got scolded and I guess he still feels guilty up to this point. I don't care how he was feeling as long as he was nice to me.I finally got out of the bed but lazily strolled to the balcony which was high up above the swimming pool area and you could see trees from up there, the mansion was indeed in a remote area with only the birds to accompany you.

Smack!  Xander held his face with his hands.  "All throughout last year I wondered why suddenly Damon who was to marry Alicia suddenly chose to marry that girl" Beatriz said, her eyes getting watered with her tears which she wiped away Immediately. "So Damon was covering for you all this time and what was the last thing about the child not being his, who else could it have been......" Beatriz paused to have a deep thinking.  Her eye brows furrowed at her sudden conclusion. "It is yours?" She said as if she was a little doubtful. "I had no idea Beth was planning to have a wedding, yes we loved each other but back then I didn't know, I admit that I did get the invitation but I never read it and that was the day I left" Xander admitted stepping back to rub his cheeks further ignoring her last question. Damon returned back with an angry look on his face, he forced open and into Beatriz room. Though their conversation were enclose you could definitely hear faint shouts forcing out of the room.At first I tried to understand Damon's sudden anger and was astonished by the truth.
