Chapter 10 At The Altar
Corvin’s POV  Corvin stood at the altar. All the lights were off in the hall, but the glass ceiling let the full moon in perfectly. The room was brighter than it would have been with the lights on. The moonlight gave off a blue light that made everything in the room glow, and the stars littered the sky with sparkling dots. They seemed endless. If it were not for gravity, it seemed one could fall into the stars forever. This day really could have been better. He shouldn’t have had to go all the way over there to pick up the pup, especially today of all days. Her mother should have prepared her. She really shouldn’t have been alone in that bedroom with that upstart brat, either. He had been mouthy, and Corvin did not like

Chapter 11 Down The Aisle
Elle’s POV   Elle cautiously walked down the narrow aisle, slowly, as she tried to avoid looking around at all the strange faces that were watching with incredible interest. All eyes were on her. It made her short walk seem to last forever, and her feet felt encased in heavy cement. She took one ginger step at a time. The glowing moon luminously glistened as it lit the room, revealing wild eyes and unfamiliar faces all around her. They looked like people. They sounded like people. But the only thing she could smell was animal, and with the way they looked at her, she wondered if she was an innocent bride or their hunted prey. She didn’t know if she was going to like this strange society. A buried part of her, which was a large part of her, felt so alive where she was. Th

Chapter 12 An Intimate Car Ride
Elle’s POV-  Elle woke up in the back seat of the roomiest SUV she had ever seen. The first thing she was aware of was the scent of new leather and black ice car freshener. Quiet 90’s rock played on the radio. She laid back and watched the stars passing as they drove. The unfamiliar setting revealed no signs of danger. The day returned to her in patches as she let the stars soothe her. None of what happened today made sense. But she remembered being with her mother and began to look around. She was alone in the back seat. Sitting up, she looked towards the driver’s seat and asked sleepily, “Mom?” A man’s hand adjusted the rearview mirror. He wore a blue tux that she knew too well

Chapter 13 Meet The New Member
Elle’s POV Arya explained to Elle that her responsibilities were making beds, cleaning the house, and doing laundry. The news was frustrating considering the promises before the wedding. But she didn't have much choice; she was trapped. It was up to Elle to make the best of a horrible situation. But Arya explained that everyone had responsibilities, and this was hers until she was ready to take on the title of Luna and accept her role as moon mother-  whatever that meant. They walked as they talked through the halls. “This is the kitchen,” Arya said, dancing her way into the room. She wrapped her arms around a skinny boy who looked even younger than Elle. “Asher is the best cook in the world.” She bragged. Ash

Chapter 14 New Apartment
Elle’s POV- Elle entered the room, her eyes quickly adjusting to the bright light. The room was small compared to the others in the castle. But it was still about the size of her living room at her parent’s house with an expensive brown leather couch and chair set that filled the room. A beautiful picture of two wolves below a full moon hung up behind the couch. Along the wall, next to the door that she entered through, was a wooden entertainment stand that went from the floor to the ceiling. In the hollowed-out center was a 65” inch HD TV. But the areas above and below the tv had wooden cabinet doors, which were shut, so she couldn’t see what else he had there.  Otherwise, the room was plain with white painted walls. Although the one she entered through held the

Chapter 15 Rejected
CH 15 1572 REJECTED   Elle’s POV-    Elle was sitting on the couch when they came out of the office. She anxiously gnawed on her inner lip. Doctor Cayden stepped out first and sat next to her. He gently pulled her hands into his. When he saw her bandaged hand, his eyes widened, full of questions. “I got mad and hit a wall earlier tonight, and Axel bandaged me up.” She said self consciously. He began unwrapping her hand. Corvin went into his room as Doctor Cayden examined the injuries she inflicted on herself. “You might have the temper of a CrimsonNight.” Doctor Cayden teased gently. “But it looks like your hand is almost healed, and I wouldn’t recommend more than a cou

Chapter 16 I Need Out!
Elle’s POV   Elle’s tears were still drying on her face as she slipped into Corvin’s office. She had decided that she wanted answers. Corvin didn’t seem like he would give them to her, and he had left the door open after telling her to help herself to whatever she found in their apartment. The view in the office took her breath away. While it was only half the size of the bedrooms, it was probably the cost of her vast walk-in closet.  Windows lined the outside wall from the floor to the ceiling. The view of the moon from the office was pristine as its brilliant light reflected off of the simple, elegant furniture. There was no need to turn the light on. The moonlight the room vividly, and she was enjoying the moon’s glow. She felt naughty as she hea

Chapter 17 Return Home
Corvin’s POV   The sun was shining brightly over the eastern horizon when Corvin strode naked up the front steps of his keep. His wolf had run the rest of the night with his pack. It was reassuring that he could feel her and knew that Elle had eventually calmed down.  She had been upset for a little while after he left. But it wasn’t half an hour later; he could sense her laughter. She seemed to cheer up before falling asleep. He slipped into his sweats as he walked up to his familiar apartment. He was especially quiet because he did not want to wake Elle. But her smell was all over the apartment. Her scent reminded him of that kiss last night, and he felt his blood heating. ‘But her scent isn’t strong enough.

Chapter 18 Cats And Dogs
Elle’s POV Elle quietly contemplated going into the apartment. An angry beast waited to take his frustrations out on her. But she was going to have to face him eventually. She opened the door deliberately. Then, walked straight past him.  Elle wouldn’t show weakness. Her eyes kept straight ahead. The itch to look at what he broke dug deep. But she couldn’t show her fear to him right now. Corvin glared daggers at her. In the middle of the room,  he stood menacingly. His gigantic chest puffed out aggressively as he breathed heavily. He was a bull about to charge.  He immediately followed on her heels. Finally, he roared at her back, demandingly. “Where

Chapter 19 Exciting Moments
TRIGGER WARNING: LIGHT BDSM Elle’s POV Elle stood outside the mysterious door that she was forbidden to enter and pressed her ear against it to listen. A faint voice tempted her to open the door. There was so much that they had not told her about that maybe exploring this one wouldn’t be so bad. It held the key to the future. “Moon mother?” A sleepy Romanian accent asked from behind her. She swung around guiltily; her eyes darted around the room furtively. “I’m not doing anything.” She exclaimed.  The man that she met the other day, when Arya showed
