“Um… I… actually I just… um… your face… um... handsome so I licked…” she bit on her tongue when the words escaped her mouth. She was hella nervous while saying that she did not even realize what she was telling him. And he laughed. “What?” he laughed once again, looking at her crimson red face. He kept on laughing because he could not control it but had to stop himself. He took a deep breath before straightening himself. “Okay, so tell me now,” he said and she looked at him. She was calm now. Her cheeks got their previous color. They were not red anymore but that slight pink blush was deliciously resting on them. “I meant to say you’re handsome, that’s

The next day, she chose to ignore him while doing her daily routine. She woke up with a headache but she chose to ignore it as well. Her puffy eyes refused to open when she tried to part her eyelashes. They did not open for some seconds. Annoyed, she huffed. “I shouldn’t have cried this much.” She mumbled to herself while her eyes were still close. She cried her heart out last night. She was herself unaware of what was happening to her. Just by his single statement that really did not mean hurt her, stabbed through her heart like a dagger. She did not understand why it hurt her so much when she felt nothing for him. She could not comprehend it but the tears started flowing from her eyes whenever his voice rang inside her ears—in which he confessed that he loved someone.

They reached the college. Daisy’s head was still hurting but she did not want to spend her day in the room alone. She was not ready to lie on the bed all day. When she reached, she did not notice Ahaz there. She knew he would attend college but she did not know he would take more time than her. She shrugged her shoulders while her fingers wrapped around the strips of her bag. “Hey!” Rosalia grinned when she saw Daisy entering. “Hi,” she could only smile through her bad and spoiled mood. She sits and her silence did not go unnoticed by Rosalia. She could sense that she was upset for some reason. “Are you alright, Daisy?” she palmed her shoulder and sat nex

When two lectures were over, Daisy packed her bag and rushed out of the room. Ahaz could not stop her once again. He called her name which she ignored even though she felt something different in the pit of her stomach whenever his tongue rolled out her name. He was furious now but the confusion did not let his anger increase more than normal. He huffed and decided to stop her, however. He followed her to the bathroom and did not pay any attention when she entered the ladies’ washroom and he also followed her. “Ahh!!” the girls jumped on their spots when Ahaz entered the restroom. The girls were washing their faces in the wash basin while some were talking with each other. Spotting a guy in their restroom, they could not help but scream loudly.

“Tell me, Daisy. Don’t make me repeat.” It was more than a command. His voice became dominant and held authority. He straightly commanded her to speak. Daisy gulps before looking into his eyes. After class, when it was time to leave, everybody was in the hall. Every class was gathered in the hall and listening to Mrs Lovely. She gathered all of the students after the classes because she wanted to discuss the function. The performance she was going to direct needed a discussion with the students, so she needed to gather the students in the hall. Now, all of them were sitting on their respective seats and listening to Mrs. Lovely. She announced the theme which was going to be performed this year. And it was The Silent Voice. Everybody in the hall started whispering in each other’s ears, while Daisy was surprised. “Wow! They selected what you wrote?” she murmured into Ahaz’s ear. She leaned closer to whisper into his

“Does she really have to do it?” the man asked the older one. His body turned towards the younger one so that he was facing him. His aura was so dominating and his towering height almost scared the others around him. “Yes, of course. She’s the ace card for us,” he replied to the younger one, making him sigh. He nodded nonetheless. “But… How are you so sure? Because he’s not like us—,” “That’s why. He’s like a puppy, dear,” the older man interrupted the younger one. He palmed his shoulder and the younger man stretched his body straight although he was already so attentive. “I bet we’ll get what we’re seeking.” He smirked at him but the young

Her eyes opened leisurely and a soft yawn escaped her lips when she woke up. The moment she peeked at her room which was dark as the lights were off, she realized that she needed to cook something for dinner. Those half closed eyes shot open and she gasped. Clutching the bedsheet, she sat straight upon the bed. She immediately looked at her right, on the table, on which the alarm clock was resting. She checked the time and realized it is already eight o’clock. “Oh—,” and the curse died down on her tongue when she inhaled the hot aroma that reached her nostrils. She frowned and got down from the bed. Her feet automatically made their way to the stairs and she inhaled the aroma once again. “Gosh,” she mumbled and

“Idiot!” She cursed him under her breath and shook her head. She got up and picked up the spatula. She walked towards the kitchen and put it into the sink. She took another spatula from there and walked back to her seat. All the time, Ahaz was watching her. She knew she had already forgiven him. She just could not say it. She sat back and served her rice and chicken. She was going to eat but before doing it, she glanced at Ahaz. He was stopped on his seat and was watching her, losing himself in the meantime.  She sighed and served him food too. He watched her doing so but chose to stay silent. They did not share any word with each other after that. She ate and he also did the same, without starting any conversation between them.&n

AHAZ “You’re crazy, bro!” Boras, my brother, quirked his bro and I ignored him. C’mon, I am his elder brother and he should support me. But here, he is constantly telling me that I am crazy. Literally so stupid of him. “Two full four days have passed since this thing and you still think the same.” I too curled my brow while running my fingers through my dark and set hair. He sighed and his shoulders dropped. I did not pay attention to it and just grabbed my bag. “Well I wonder how you spent a day there. You are a very angry type of vampire. How did you tolerate the stupidity of those stupid and ignorant people?” A chuckle left his throat as he eyed me.
