Chapter 16: Demands and RefusalsAylin’s pov, Rowan choked over his bite as soon as I mentioned my upcoming departure. Surprised, Waylen pushed a glass full of water to vigorously coughing Rowan. He looked up, grasping air to breathe while glaring at him. Waylen retreated the glass immediately and drank himself. “But Lin, you just came. Why you need to leave this early? You haven’t even visited Avarland nor crescent pack.” Orson asked with his concern filled voice. He really looked worried, increasing the guilt inside me, watching his excitement to give a tour of these places.  “Maybe it’s early, but I still have to return, right? To my people. Chapter 18: Indifferent Thoughts  My head struck, as his words were ringing in my ears, daring me to question my beliefs.
