41. The deed
*WARNING: MATURE CONTENT AHEAD* It was the most perfect night for both Tristan and Lydia. They had a nice time on top of a cliff, staring at the beautiful stars and talking about their lives and likes. "Thanks for tonight, I had a very nice time." Lydia said to Tristan. He was standing with her in front of her room. "It's no problem. I'm glad you had a good time." He said to her. "Okay then. Go in," he said to her and she nodded her head. "Goodnight Tristan." "Goodnight." He said. "Tristan." Lydia called just as he was about to leave. Tristan turned to look at her. "What?" He raised his brows up in a questioning manner. "Do you want to come in?" She asked him, locking gaze with him. Tristan felt a jolt of electricity down

42. The other side
Everything felt surreal for Tristan. He wanted to believe he was in a bad dream and so he picked himself hard but everytime he pinched himself, he realized he wasn't dreaming. He was still in the human world and he felt pains at the back of his neck and ache in his head and back of his eyes. Lydia being the one who cursed him baffled him a lot and Jade being the one to break his curse baffled him too.  Just how? He thought to himself.  He couldn't wait to discover the mystery behind everything. Tristan got off the bed, wore his clothes and just as he was about to leave, Lydia woke up.  "Where are you going?" She asked. The skin between Tristan's brows creased. He began to wonder if Lydia knows of the power she has or not because he didn't understand anything at all. Lydia was talking to him as if she di

43. Realization
Tristan looked around the room. He felt his time running out and thankfully he saw the window opened. He couldn't believe he had not thought of that since. He looked at Lydia one more time, scrutinizing her so that she wouldn't know what he was planning to do as he felt she might have the powers to hold him down. In a hazy state, he began to walk towards the direction of the window in an unsuspicious way. "Finally. It seems you made the right choice." Lydia smiled, thinking he was coming to her but then he changed his movement and fled through the window taking her by surprise.  Tristan felt relieved the moment he came out of the room. He felt alive. Although he still felt pains, they were not as compared to when he was still in the room. He took in a deep breath, inhaling the natural air before he began to walk away. He needed a lot of answers and how t

44. Nightmare
Simon arrived at Jade's place later in the evening as soon as he was done with his work at the office.  "Welcome Mr Francis," the woman at the door said to Simon. "Is Jade around?" He asked. "No sir. She left the country last night." She informed him. "What? She left? Last night? To where?" He asked all in one breath. "To Greece. She didn't inform you?" The woman asked and he nodded his head. Simon ran his finger through his hair as he recalled his last conversation with her. She had given him hints about her movement but he didn't understand.  Simon: What do you mean by ``you are flying away?"  Jade: I am seriously flying away. I am exhausted so I feel like flying away and you won't be able to stop me from flying away.  He had not understood what she meant last

45. Repercussion
"I'm sorry but I cannot give you Jade's new phone number. She asked that her phone number isn't shared with anyone and if they ask for it. No matter who it is, I cannot give it to you." Mr Morris said to Simon. "I beg of you sir. I really need to speak to her. I do not think she would be angry to find out that you gave her a new line. We do not have any issue with one another. In Fact we spoke to each other two nights ago." Simon pleaded, hoping Mr Morris would give him Jade's new number.  "I stand by my words. I cannot help you Simon. If Jade wanted you to reach her, she would have definitely shared her new line with you and since she didn't, I'm sure she doesn't want you having it."  Simon ran his finger through his hair while he thought of words he could use to convince Mr Simon. He was worried that Tristan might die. Tristan wasn't looking like himself and

Simon waited for Jade all through the day until night and she was nowhere to be seen.   He was glad that he came with a coat or he would have frozen to death and had no choice but to run back to the hotel he lodged in.   Jade was surprised to see Simon outside of her place at past ten. She had intentionally returned late so she wouldn't run into him when she finally went back but to her surprise he was standing, waiting for her and irked her.   "You are the biggest goat to everything that I would succumb to and follow you back. It is better you get the fuck out of here before I am forced to drag you out of here," she warned him.   Simon exhaled deeply. "Why are you doing this Jade? Just why? I mean what's happened? You were okay with everything and suddenly it all changed. Why?" He questioned.   She clicked her tongue. "Why? Are you seriously asking me that? I alre

49. She's here
"You will not be the one to tell me what to do okay?" Lydia retorted.   "Well I wouldn't be speaking to you If you are doing just as I was told. Not only didn't you approach Tristan but now you are giving him the green light. It's like you are luring him to danger knowing how desperate he is," Jade countered.   "And how is that my problem? How should I take care of that? Isn't he here to find someone he would sleep with and break his curse and go back to his world? Is that why he came here in the first place? He is going to hurt someone and I am just going to hurt him in return, that's just it," Lydia retorted.   Jade clicked her tongue. "That's his mission. To find the one with the glowing eyes who would break his curse for him. You cannot add more to that. He has been living with his curse for years now and this is an opportunity for him to break and all you care about is a
