21. Chickened out
"Are you sure you want to walk all the way back home?" Tristan asked for the umpteenth time and Lydia nodded her head.   "Goodness. You are a crazy woman," he laughed.    She told him she wanted to spend time with him and didn't want to leave him yet and so she suggested they walk back to her place as it wasn't that far from where they ate.   She felt that way, they would talk more and still be by each other's side.   Lydia halted. She stood in front of him, "You don't like it?"    "Like what?" Tristan asked.    "That I am weird, stupid?" She snarked.   Tristan shook his head, showing off his pearly white teeth. "Not at all. I like that. To be honest, I didn't want to part ways with you just yet and I'm glad you suggested this. We can talk more and hold hands more."   He en

22. Questions
Tristan spent the whole night drinking. He couldn't close his eyes and fell asleep. Whenever he closed his eyes, he opened them back as he couldn't seem to fall asleep no matter what.     "You know what. I give up," Tristan snorted.     "I don't even know what to do or how to feel any more. I came here to break my curse..." He trailed off as he took another sip of alcohol from the bottle.   His eyes were red already and it was due to the fact he couldn't cry no matter how he wanted and he couldn't express how he felt.   "My life back in the werewolf world isn't that much different from here you know. I mean there is a difference but now, considering all that is happening and the state I am in, it isn't. I would fall in love with the one who would break my curse and return back to my world and Tristan Stone would take back his body and then what happened next?

23. Contemplating
"Are you okay?" Simon whispered to Tristan.   Simon noticed how zoned out Tristan was in the meeting room. He could tell his friend wasn't paying attention to anything the woman at the front was talking about.   Tristan snapped out of his thought. "What did you say?"    Simon shook his head. "You seem lost, is something bothering you?" He asked again.   "Yeah. Yes," he replied, pinching the bridge of his nose.     The meeting ended and everyone left the room after coming to a conclusion. It was now Simon and Tristan in the room.   "Want to talk about it?" Simon pulled his chair closer to Tristan.   "Talk about what? There is nothing to talk about," Tristan replied.     Simon raised his brows up, using his facial expression to tell Tristan that he doesn't believe what he wa

24. Attack
"What just happened?" Tristan asked his driver as soon the car came to a forceful halt.   The driver exhaled deeply. "I'm sorry sir. I almost hit someone. I will up down and rectify the situation," he told Tristan but before he could, the person he almost hit with the car came tapping on the mirror of the car.     The driver wound down the car window so he could speak to the lady.   "Are you stupid or something? Are you? Don't you know how to drive and don't you watch where you are going?" Jade said harshly to the driver.   "I am really sorry ma. I..." Jade interjected when her eyes landed on Tristan who was seated at the back seat while typing on his phone.   "Did he pay you?" She cuts him off rudely as she glared at Tristan.   The skin between the drivers face creased in confusion. "Excuse you?...I..." Jade interje

25. Reconcile
Tristan stared at his wrist watch and cursed mentally when he realized that he was fifteen minutes late.   "Anytime I bump into her, it's always a mess," he muttered underneath his breath.   "Hurry up," he hastened his driver as he hoped that Lydia had not gone.   "That woman. I thought Mr Abel said he had taken care of it?" Tristan thought to himself.   "She did say her brother and his family left so why didn't she? She's definitely here to torment me. Definitely carrying out her mission to frustrate me but she won't win," Tristan scoffed.   "The moon goddess said only one of the women with the glowing eyes would break my curse and I should be wary but there is absolutely nothing to be wary of because as she said, I would connect with the both of them well but now I know the right one. Lydia is the right one and Jade is the one who would only create

26. A rival visit
"Just what?" Lydia urged.   Tristan swallowed the invisible lump on his throat. "I was just...jealous," he finally said with a deep breath after words.   A smile formed on Lydia's face.    "Jealous?" She asked rhetorically.   "You were jealous? That has gotten to be the most ridiculous word I have heard today. How could you be jealous?" She let out a small laugh.   "Firstly, you are not my boyfriend and secondly you are jealous of a relationship that doesn't exist? Wow!" She shook her head in amusement.   "I must say Tristan Stone is really a difficult man to understand."   Tristan rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "I might not be your man now but I will definitely be your man soon," he replied and she laughed out loud.   Within her, she was glad that he was talking about being

27. Alpha Lancelot story
Tristan clenched his fist and then he closed his eyes. He had sensed something strange earlier but had overlooked it because he didn't want to appear weird in front of Lydia anymore.   "She is beautiful. Very beautiful. If you are here, where is the real Tristan Stone and how come you are suddenly loved? What's happened, Tristan? I am very curious to know what happened in the werewolf world, very...very," he said his words precisely, one word after the other riling Tristan more than he already was.   "Why don't you go back to the werewolf world and find out for yourself," Tristan said through his teeth.     Lancelot chuckled. "I wish I could but then again I can't. Can you go back though?"    The skin between Tristan's brows creased as he wondered why Lancelot would ask him that question.    "What do you mean by, 'can I go back?" Tristan aske

28. A dream
"I told you that I would kill you, didn't I Tristan?" Jade laughed out hoarsely.   Tristan gulped down the lump that formed in his throat painfully as he stared at Jade who had claws and fangs.   She also had blood dripping from her claws and at the side of the mouth.   Beads of sweats formed on Tristan's forehead and his heart beat in trepidation.   "I will ruin you. You won't succeed in your mission because that is what I am here to do. To make sure you fail."  She took steps towards him and he walked back to avoid her from getting closer.   "Don't...don't..." He tried to speak but couldn't as he suddenly lost his voice.   He couldn't help himself no more. He screamed but he would only hear it in his head but his voice was gone.   Jade laughed out loud. "This is it for you Tristan. You will die in this world

29. Stalking
Tristan cautiously walked towards Lydia.    It's been over two week since they started dating and made things official between them. The past two weeks for the both of them have been very nice but since yesterday Lydia has been acting weirdly and it disturbed him.   She became distant after they had gone a little further in their relationship. She wouldn't talk to him and when she did, she never said more than two words.   He didn't intend to secretly follow her but he just couldn't help it as she kept speaking in a hush tone on the phone making him curious.   He could tell Lydia was speaking to someone but he didn't know who she was speaking to and he wanted to know.    One part of him told him to go back and not be seen by Lydia so as not to create any misunderstanding between them but he didn't listen and kept walking further.   Lydia heard and s

30. Fate and Time
Tristan had informed his servants to not disturb him until he came out and they did as told.   He entered his room and closed his door. He took a deep breath and exhaled deeply before speaking. "I know you said not to call for you until I had successfully completed my mission but you know that's not possible right? You are literally the only one that I can talk to considering my life right now and I need you to speak to me," he expatiates.   "What is it that you want, Tristan, son of Mateo?"   Tristan's face lit up when he heard the voice of the moon goddess. He wasn't expecting her to answer him that fast.   "Moon goddess. Thanks for answering me," he appreciated her for her response.   "You are always thanking me Tristan but fail to abide by what I tell you to do. What is it? Why have you called me this time around?" The Moon goddess asked.   "Jade Morris.
