Tristan looked around the room. He felt his time running out and thankfully he saw the window opened.
He couldn't believe he had not thought of that since. He looked at Lydia one more time, scrutinizing her so that she wouldn't know what he was planning to do as he felt she might have the powers to hold him down.
In a hazy state, he began to walk towards the direction of the window in an unsuspicious way.
"Finally. It seems you made the right choice." Lydia smiled, thinking he was coming to her but then he changed his movement and fled through the window taking her by surprise.
Tristan felt relieved the moment he came out of the room. He felt alive. Although he still felt pains, they were not as compared to when he was still in the room.
