Prologue

He smacks the whip down on my back 1... 2... 3... excrutiating times. I take a big gulp of fresh air trying to get out of my memories. " Sit down and take it bitch! " he says unbuckling his pants. Why can't I get out? I can't breathe. He forces himself inside my throat. I couldn't breathe. I grab my throat desperately trying to breathe. Tears running down my face. He grabs my head and pulses it down on him. Why me? Why did I choose this man as my mate? " I'm okay. This isn't happening, " I remind myself My breathing slows to a normal pace and I can see the crescent moon above me It captures me completely. The white glow grasps my attention.

Waking Up

" Fuck, " I growled hitting the wall making sure not to break it. " Is there anything I can do for you Mr. Damian? " one of the brunnete submissives whose name I couldn't be bothered to know begged. I knew all she wanted was sex with me and her pathetic ass wasn't going to get it. I was pissed, not horny. For god's sake, I found a dirty, beaten girl out patroling for my pack. Could I not just be freaked out for a second? She was seriously hurt by the car that had hit her on one of the backroads. I had to put her in the infirmary for her injuries. I didn't know what I was going to do with her or if I was to put her in the pack. She was in desperate need of help, but I didn't know if our exclusive pack was fit for her. She was a small submissive and we were in need of dominants. " Can you get me Luke? " I asked She looked at

Vamps vs. Wolves

Me and the vamp had only met once, well before this situation, and that was the day the war really began. See, my father and every other elder in my pack believe that the war started whenever vamps and werewolves were made; that we were just naturally opposed being that we are opposites. The vamps are slaves to the sun and us wolves are slaves to the moon. Anyways younger and more intelligent souls, like me, believe that we lived in a sort of mutual hatred before the situation of the vampire queen. She was a beautiful, elegant young or, technically very old queen and even I and all of the other pups respected her at the time. Blonde, almost white hair, so shiny it would blind you and so caring, nonviolent, unlike her dick husband.“ Nice to see you too, wolves, “ the vampire prince said.“ You better have a damn good reason why you’re in our territory again or else—” JJ said“ Or else what?” Joline interrupted, “ you’ll rip his head off? “ she scoffs looking up from

The party

The abandoned warehouse where the party was taking place was nothing special. Really, it was just a hiding place to get away from our parents. They didn’t care if we drank at home or not it was just their views that hurt us. I sit against the cold grey wall sipping a beer. This was my time to relax from expectations. I didn’t have to prove anything to anyone. The vamps and the werewolves were still very much separated but tolerant of each other. The vampires just had to have everything they wanted. I still hated them for what they did to my pack. I hate them for their prejudices and their know-it-allness, but I didn’t hate them for everything. As proven by the vampire queen, not her dick husband, they could be nice, but that didn’t rub off on Ethan. He had made one of his vamps scared of him. I swear he got off on making them scared and I hated that. A pack member shouldn’t be scared of his leader; he should respect themI walk over to the corner where all the wolves were hangin

Ethan

I was glad she walked away. She would get hurt if I didn’t go easy on her. Katherine was a twig: no meat on her bones. She was one of the girls who overestimated their abilities over me. Not to brag, but I was over one hundred years old. She was merely 15-17 considering the last time I saw her. This gave me an extensive advantage over the girlI have been beaten by many vampire women, but never alone werewolf. Especially, not a lone werewolf who had just been hit by a car. She had a very slim chance considering her frame and accident yesterday.I wondered if she knew that I saved her. She looked too surprised to know. She wasn’t conscious when I picked her wolf up from the road. I was on a hunt with my clan when I saw her lifeless wolf. I didn’t know why I saved her. It went against all of my instincts. “ You might want to follow her on your way out, “ I badgeredI guess I looked threatening enough for them to not say anything. That JJ guy was getting on my last ner

The list

I sit downstairs in the kitchen on the bar stool. The kitchen was relatively small compared to the size of the pack and very empty. It had fancy white marble counters with white brick as the background. It was early in the morning and I was the only one awake. I sip my warm coffee staring out the window as I once was yesterday. Sipping my coffee in the morning helped me to relax before it all went crazy in the morning. I did this every day since I was twelve. “ Katherine, “ My father said sitting beside me.It was a common occurrence for this to happen since my father was busy all the time as the alpha of the pack.“ Hey, dad, “ I said “ I heard that you all went out last night. Did you have fun? “ he said looking as if something was wrong.“ No, not really, “ I said honestly.Meeting vampires at your favorite hangout spot was exactly fun. “ Oh, “ he said expecting me to say yes.My father wasn’t much of a deep or emotional person. My mom was alway

Family time

The pups run down the stairs eager to get some food. I swear they ate like 10 times a day. “ Me first! “ One of the pups demand“ No, me first, Jayden! “ A pup cries“ Mabel promised me that I could go first since I went last time, “ the pup said bossily.Their innocent playfulness makes me smile. A real, genuine smile for the first time in a long time. I wish my biggest problem was what number I was in the breakfast line.“ Katty, tell them I can go first, “ Faye said with puppy dog eyes. Her teary eyes almost convinced me, but if I wanted to be a Luna I had to be fair. “ Maya, Mabel, handle this, “ I commanded whilst finishing the eggs.“ Since when were you in charge? “ Maya complainedOh my lord, I didn’t have time for this.“ My father, the alpha of this pack, did. Do what I say, “ I hissI reach for the spatula to flip the bacon, but accidentally reach my hand into the grease. The heat of the grease seeped into my hand and sp

Pleasing the storm

I cautiously creep towards the door. I turn the door handle and peek my head out the door.Low and behold, it was the vamp, Ethan.“ Hello, love. I’d like to speak to your father. My father sent me here to deal with some business between us, “ he says leaning on the door frame.I slam the door. He was dressed in a full blue suit. I was in unicorn pj’s!“ What is it? “ Joe asks concerned.“ Vampire. Ethan. “ I articulate.“ What?! “ JJ says storming towards the door.“ The hottie? “ Mabel says“ Shut up and get to work. I can handle this. “ I say desperately looking from side to side.“ Hey, um, “ I start to sayWhat would my father do? My thoughts start to race.“ Can I come in? “ he charmingly asks with his half-smile.“ Y-No. We can meet outside, “ I said remembering if I said yes he would be able to com

Ethan's attraction

I stared into her gaping dark brown eyes. Her intoxicating scent raised through my nostrils giving me a mere taste of what more there was. Her round almond-shaped eyes filled with pure fear startled me. “ W-what are you doing? “ Katherine asks I didn’t answer. Instead, I examined her body. I couldn’t explain why I had put us in this position except that I was curious about her. She was unlike any girl I had seen with perfect bones. I could see the bones popping out of her skin. She wasn’t curvy, but very thin and that grasped my attention. Many supernatural girls had perfect, unnatural bodies, but Katherine had a strikingly different, but perfect, body. I touched her black hair pushing it out of her face. She had beautiful cheekbones that were more prominent due to her thinness. I ran my finger down those cheekbones feeling a tingling sensati
