Lahat ng Kabanata ng FALLING FOR A ROGUE ALPHA: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

One day, when Jacob was away, I decided to pay a visit at Pedro’s house. I couldn’t explain it but I wanted to keep Pedro as a friend. We had the same vibes, and I loved his sense of humor. I took a deep breath outside Pedro's room before approaching his door and knocking for strength and courage. "Hello," I murmured, smiling at the most attractive man I'd ever seen, and when he smiled back, how do I express how excited and giddy I felt? Finally, I felt a million butterflies in my stomach, and I knew I'd slobber on him if I didn't close my lips immediately. "Please come in, Bethany." Pedro flung open the door wide to greet me. "Your place is nice," I said from the bottom of my heart, complimenting his space. Or else my mouth would start complimenting him on everything in seconds. Even as a housemaid, I was intrigued by the prospect of living with him. He was gentler than Jacob, and he didn't treat me as if I were a second-class citizen because of my current occupation. "How are thi

For a few days, Jacob and I had a strained relationship. Finally, I had no choice but to ignore him because he usually ignored me. I returned to my room after finishing my duties, which included cooking and cleaning.I was alone and alone in my room when I realized the time had come for me to move on. I should talk about my pay with Jacob as soon as he gets home. I couldn't wait any longer, and I needed to get away from the people who had recently caused me concern.Pedro paid me a visit one night, but his timing was off. Jacob was inebriated and irritable. When I looked at Jacob, I couldn't understand what he was thinking, but his reactions told me he didn't like seeing Pedro's face in his house.Keeping this in mind, I refused to let Pedro inside and instead spoke with him at the door. "What brings you here, Pedro?" I was curious."You stopped seeing me," he replied."I'm just busy," I pretended."I'm missing you, Bethany," he admitted.Even though Pedro's statement was lovely, I co

My mood darkened like the draperies on his window when he smirked, and I saw blood! I was taken aback by his arrogance and started walking away, but I came to a halt when I heard him laugh. He must have thought I was a coward because I couldn't meet his demands.I cursed him and said, "I hope you get herpes soon," as I walked away. It was impolite to wish someone ill, but he brought out the worst in me. When I exited his room, I saw the bodyguard but ignored him. I shouldn't vent my rage on him because he did nothing wrong.Jacob grabbed my arm as I walked into my room. “Hey!” I yelled at him for being disrespectful."That was mean, Bethany," he said."What exactly did you mean by that?" When I wanted you to get herpes as soon as possible? Do you think you're unworthy?" I didn't mind if I hurt his feelings. I simply stopped caring, and he should know that he is the one who is wrong, not me!"This is your chance to apologize to me," he said.“Apologize?” Smirking at his demeanor, I res

"And what about me?" Odette was the one who asked the question."How are you doing, sweetheart?" The woman gulped for air when Jacob inquired. Odette's rage flared in my direction, and she strode over to me and grabbed my hair before Jacob could intervene."How could you?" She yelled angrily.I was caught off guard when Odette attacked me. I was stunned and unable to respond! Jacob's voice was the one that jolted me awake. Then I made every effort to flee Odette, but she had gone insane and was clutching my hair ferociously."Odette, stop this right now!" Odette ignored him, and all he could do was gasp as her sharp nails scraped my face.I felt a sting as Odette's long nails pierced my skin and knew it would leave a mark. "Do you believe you're insane?" I yelled at Odette, but all she did was laugh.I turned my attention to Jacob, glaring at him because it was his fault. As a result of him, I suffered at the hands of his mistress. When Jacob finally managed to separate Odette and me,

I was disappointed when Jacob flatly refused my invitation. I tried to sleep by closing my eyes, but I couldn't fall asleep. I got out of bed, annoyed that I didn't get what i wanted, and made my way to the door. I tiptoed down the hallway to Jacob's room, exhaling deeply as I paused outside his door. I stood near the door but couldn't bring myself to knock. I couldn't decide whether to knock or go back to my room. I took another deep breath and closed my eyes. When I felt confident enough to announce my presence, I raised my hand and knocked on his door. The door opened with only three knocks, and I swallowed the lump in my throat while trying to calm my heartbeat. I wasn't supposed to be nervous in his presence, but the way he looked at me was out of the ordinary.I averted my gaze because I felt naked in front of his eyes, but Jacob caressed my face and compelled me to look at him. For a brief moment, our gazes were locked, and no one dared to look away. Standing outside his room i
