Emily’s POV: I closed my eyes and thought for a while about the mess I had created. I opened my eyes and then looked at everyone in the class. As my eyes moved to Melissa, she looked at me and shook her head as if trying to tell me that I did something wrong. She rested her elbow on the desk and threw her head in her hand. Emily’s POV: Melissa and I walked to my house and on the way we prated about different things. She didn’t try alluding to the things happened that day and didn’t even mention Aiden’s name once. I was relieved when I saw my house door because I was yearning to throw myself on the bed and shut my eyes tightly and try to efface out all the stress out of my body and beat a hasty retreat from disquietude.
