Alpha Killian's Human Mate のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

ERIKA'S POV "Killian... Killian... Killian!" I screamed, jolting up from the bed all of a sudden. "I'm right here," his soft voice growled beside me. With the base of his palm, he wiped some lines of tears away from my cheeks. "Am I crying?" I looked with surprise. "You were probably having a bad dream," he said. "What did you see?" Immediately, my mind flew back to the dream which I had only woken up from, like a minute ago. "Killian, I'm afraid," I hugged him tight when the details of the dream flooded into my memory. "You don't have to be afraid. I'm always here to protect you," he assured me, patting me on the back fondly. My neck, my armpit, and my back were all sweaty. Fear crippled me as I remembered the flash dream where I saw him on the floor bleeding to death while in a wedding suit. "You don't have to tell me what you dreamt," he said to me. "Just get dressed, I want to take you to the stream for fishing." He placed a soft kiss on my moist lips and I breathed in t

KILLIAN'S POV Erika and I got to Luke's office. She quickly rushed and hugged him. Alek flinched. I smiled weakly as Luke nervously greeted me, knowing that I should get upset about the way my future bride glued to him in that hug. "How may I be of service to you, alpha?" He bowed. "I'm not here for much," I told him, "I just want to know if you can make a wedding gown for your friend who's about to get wedded to me." "Yes," I can, Luke swiftly replied. "Very well, then. You can begin with the measurements," I said to him. "And lest I forgot, I want the wedding gown made of the most beautiful fabric there is now. I don't mind how much it costs." "Yes, alpha," Luke nodded. I took a seat while he got his tape and a book which he used to write down the measurements he took. He was measuring Erika right in front of me. I watched them carefully as she swiftly assumed any position he needed to take the measurements correctly. But when he got to measuring her bursts, I almost lost i

KILLIAN'S POV Based on the strategy I had in mind, if Sloane would make a move, it would be on the day I'm most distracted. My wedding day was the perfect day. And if he were to attack that day, then it would be before the full moon comes out. He wouldn't want to fight me when the full moon comes out, so I decided to fix the wedding time to be before the full moon comes out to draw him out. It was working, I could sense the impatience in Elder Jonas. His wicked old eyes couldn't hide his eagerness to have me pinned to the ground. The man whom uncle Paul had warned me about his eagerness to be alpha while he was young but never got to that position. Elder Jonas had contested for the alpha position with more than five generations now and still couldn't achieve it. Some people believed he was the one behind my father's death in battle. But that still didn't help him get into that alpha position because my father passed it down to me by letting me to stop his last breath. I had passed

KILLIAN'S POV "Alpha, I can provide you with some magic to boost your strength," I heard the priest's voice through the mind link. Together with Ciro, Ari, the elders, and some of my closest buddies, he was among those whom I let reach me through the mind link. "There's no need for that," I relayed back to him, "protecting the children comes first." The pups were locked in the underground sealed with the priest's magic. I didn't want anything comprising the safety of our pups. Even if we were defeated in the end, those children will be safe in that underground with the priest. And even if Sloane later employed the aid of witches to break that seal, it will require very powerful magic, and I trusted the priest to have many more wildcards up his sleeve. "I can do it," he persuaded me. But I warned him. "Stay back and watch the pups! It's an order." I'd never talked to him that way. I was still glued to the ground beneath Sloane's feet and he ranted still. "I know you, Killian, y

KILLIAN'S POV "Those five," I said to Ciro as we headed back to the pack. "They think they can betray me and then come back to beg for mercy. They're lucky I didn't even kill them off right there." "Even Diana had come last night, asking me to beg you for pardon," he told me. "Like hell, I'd do that! She walked in her father's path and now the result lies before her face. She has to accept what she has brought upon herself," I declared. "People could be foolish at times," Ciro remarked. "There are still some opposers within the pack who luckily for them, didn't join elder Jonas in his treachery," I pointed out. "A least, they must have changed now, seeing that your mate is truly powerful and worthy of Luna," Ciro said. I smiled. He seemed to be defending them probably because Sandra's father and elder sister were among those I was talking about. "Henceforth, I'll show no mercy to whoever opposes me," I declared. "And about the training, I told you about— can't you squeeze out
