~.NOVA.~Day one."Rise and shine, contestants! It's the first day of the Lunar Clash: Blades and Gifts challenge! Get ready and head to the dining hall!" Lady Dyare's voice echoed through the speakers on the wall.Rolling to my side, I fell off my top bunk with a thud groaning in pain. Struggling to get up, I rubbed my eyes and glanced around the dimly lit dormitory. The other contestants were already on their feet, hurriedly dressing and grabbing their gear. Lunar Clash was the most prestigious challenge for Blades and Gifts wielders, and I couldn't afford to lag behind."You guys, wait for me," I said as Horia sat on her bed buckling her boots.I quickly dressed in my red combat attire, it was the color representing the Crescent Hills. As I rushed out of the dormitory, the smell of freshly baked pastries from the nearby bakery wafted through the air, tempting me, but there was no time for indulgence today. In the dining hall, contestants from different realms and backgrounds fille

~. .~"Seriously, the more you keep frowning makes me think I forced you into this deal." Her voice echoed.Adrian was back in the dark abyss, his arms folded as he made her know he didn't find pleasure in visiting her."Come another day, then, when you are not frowning," she said, shooting him from the abyss but it only vexed him more."Just get this over with! Why did you summon me?""The Lunar Clash: Blades and Gifts challenge has begun right?" Adrian gave a curt nod and she hummed in response."Is she part of the participants?" Adrian frowned, "That's none of your business." She chuckled, placing an arm on Adrian's shoulder. "I could easily find her.""Don't you dare lay a finger on her." he seethed, cornering her to a wall. She loved riling him up. "Of course, I won't lay a finger on her.""I'll take my leave now since you have nothing but nonsense to spout."Adrian walked out of the abyss leaving her to her thoughts.~.HORIA.~Under the starry night sky, we

~. .~Cheers erupted as Crescent Hill's citizens watched the Lunar Clash: Blades and Gifts event from the projection in the sky. Princess Velia and some council members along with guards were in the Capital observing the training of the newly transformed pups."It's been a week since they got their wolf powers," The trainer remarked. Velia's eyes filled with pride as she watched the young pups train. Council member Jarek nodded in agreement. "Yes, they're coming along quite nicely. Our future protectors are growing stronger with each passing day."Princess Velia nodded in approval before signing a document that was held out by the trainer."Let's move on, your highness…We still have other places to visit." Council member Royan said as he directed Princess Velia forward."Princess Velia!" Most werewolves shouted when she passed by.As Princess Velia and her entourage left the training grounds, they continued their tour of the bustling Capital. The cheers of the citizens

~.NOVA.~Under the moon's watchful gaze, we had on the grass hidden from the tributes we saw earlier.Suddenly, a distant sound reached our ears—a haunting melody that echoed through the night. We exchanged wary glances, recognizing the tune as a signature of the Hunger Games organizers."It's the anthem," Horia whispered, her voice tinged with dread. "They're showing the fallen tributes."We looked up at the sky. There, illuminated by the moonlight, were the faces of the fallen tributes, their images projected like ghostly apparitions. Each tribute's face appeared in turn, a reminder of the deadly nature of the game we were trapped in. Some faces were familiar from our brief encounters at the Cornucopia, while others were strangers whose stories we would never know. The anthem played on, a mournful melody that hung heavy in the night air. It was a grim reminder of the price of failure in the Hunger Games. As the last face faded from the sky, we remained silent, each lost in our though

~. .~As soon as Jannah had disappeared from the arena and materialized into the real world, her mate, Mobali's Gamma, Nate rushed to find her.Mobali and the rest followed him as they burst into the infirmary where all the fallen participants were been treated."WHERE IS SHE?" Nate's voice thundered as he grabbed onto one of the healers. Trembling in fear the healer asked, "Who is she, sir?""Get a hold of yourself, Nate." Mobali growled at him using his Supreme Alpha Authority as he released the healer from Nate's grip. "The Supreme Gamma Female."The healer immediately directed us to a private room where Jannah was being treated. "Jannah!" Nate yelled as he rushed towards her, falling at her bedside. She was in her wolf form, unconscious and dried blood patched on her fur."What is the meaning of this? Why are you not attending to her?" Nate barked as the healers trembled at his voice."Apparently, her highness was weak so she shifted into her wolf form to preserve her life, but we
