"Sister.." Mia muttered and tears uncontrollably poured on her jowls."My sister." Juliet trotted towards her and she threw herself in Mia's arms she grasped her firmly like an anaconda grasping its prey, "I've missed you so much sister." She shed tears on her neck and she moved from her arms holding Mia's hands."Why haven't you come to my mansion to visit me since three weeks you returned from Brazil?"Juliet's eyes drooped spotting Mia's eyes and cheeks somber she stroked her cheek, "sister you look so unwell.""I know." Mia ambled to the sofa and crouched on it. Juliet crouched beside her. Mia sighed and tears prickled her eyes, "it's the tumor I have. It's depleting me." She sniffed."Oh, I'm sorry." Juliet patted her lovingly on her arm."I don't know what's more painful? This cancer or my husband having an affair?""Your husband's cheating on you with another woman?" Juliet's raised her brows feeling stunned."I just found out, " Mia nodded, "I tried to kill myself. You see me h

Mia calmly sat back, "Who are you?" She raised her brows."My name's Mark. I picked you up from the roadside. You were lying under the harsh rain." It dawned on Mia that it is raining. She listened to the rain roaring angrily."Would you want to have coffee?" She nodded in reply, "yes please.""Hold on a sec."She stared at him walking out of the room. After a few minutes, his footsteps started echoing in the room. Mia glanced at his feet, they were covered in a pair of jet-black boots. He stood at a corner nursing a cup of coffee. Mia noticed him staring at her as if she have wrinkles on her face she felt so unrelaxed, "what's it?"Mark advanced to her and he stretched the cup of coffee to her. His arm was lengthy as a mopstick and she grasped the cup, kneeled her head sipping the coffee through pursed lips.Mark folded his arms and he looked at her that way again. Now she found it annoying and she wore a tight frown wondering what was going on in his mind. Mark sighed and sank his

Jansen sighed, "what have I done?" He attempted thumping Juliet's door, he still had more to say to her he swerved from the door approaching his car.Juliet sat quietly on the floor, she crossed her arms on her chest whimpering. "No, this can't be happening." She screamed, "Jansen is a jerk." She clenched her fists. It was 8:09 in the frosty night. Mia was lying in a Queen-sized-bed in the guestroom. She tossed like the waves of an ocean having a bad dream. A crystal image of Jansen and Juliet hugging and Jansen caressing Juliet's arms was appearing in her mind. Their voices was so audible it was banging in her ears it was almost as if they are presently in the room and she jolted awake sighing.Mia sat up and she patted her chest tears formed in her eyes and a tight frown settled on her face, "why do I still see you guys? You traitors. You two have no right to make my sleep uncomfortable. You two are the ones who should be uncomfortable for what I'm gonna do." She grasped her blanket

Jansen hurried over to her and pulled her into a hug. He kissed her on her hair and he leaned in, his neck stretching to hers, he moved his lips nearer to hers and she moved backwards. Jansen's face was puzzled glancing at her shifting her face from his, "hon? What's wrong?""It's me. I have bad breath. I had plantains before coming here and you dislike the smell and taste of plantains."Jansen chuckled, "you still remember?"Mia stroked his cheek looking into his eyes, "I have every detail of you edged in my mind. I do not forget. That's how much I love you." She smiled wildly her incisors were divulging."Where have you been? I couldn't relax wondering where you are.""I travelled to Paris. I wanted to shop for my sister's birthday party arriving this weekend." Jansen stretched his hands towards Mia's waist, he laid his hands on her waist, "why didn't you tell me that you are travelling?"Mia gently pulled his hands from her waist. Jansen was taken aback and he got quite anxious. Mi

It has been a couple of days gone. Mia has been anticipating Juliet's birthday party. It was a breezy frenzied Saturday evening. Mia hunched at her dressing table. She leaned her back in a ruddy comfy chair in one of the rooms in the resort she booked for Juliet's birthday party. She was decking herself up. She glanced at her reflection in the mirror, clasped a lipstick, swabbed her lips with it, and smudged her cheeks with foundation. She could feel the softness of the brush as it smooches her face as she applies foundation to brighten her skin tone. She applied a thin layer of primer on her skin. Her long lashes gently touched each other as as she added an eye pimer to her eyelids. Her hair was coiled nicely and they were neatly trimmed and stretched to her neck. She felt it smooching her neck. Her wig was tender and fluffy like a Norwegian Elkound puppy.Mia was wrapped up in a towel. She rose from the chair and slid her smooth feet into a pair of chubby rubber slippers, they felt
