Sheriff Hardin stood in front of what seems to be a bulletin board, stroking his chin as he was examining what he had done.He had pinned pictures from all his past cases that he couldn’t seem to solve on it. He then tried to match each case with the possible suspect in the middle of the board with red wool. All the cases made sense now. The teenagers that were killed in the woods, the ones who disappeared, the ones whose bodies were found and somehow the case with Sophie and her girlfriend matched this.Sophie was right, she said they were attacked by what seemed to be a man beast but he just dismissed it as probably the shock of what happened or teenage imagination. Now he knew for sure that she wasn’t shitting him, it was real.Werewolves were real and he had fucking seen one, he knew one. In fact he was slowly getting involved with supernatural creatures and he cussed himself out.Why didn’t he think that this was more than meets the eye? Why didn’t try to see through his nos

“You look more dangerous with your knife than those scales” Nimueh said with a soft grin as she came out of the shadows.Sophie felt some kind of relief, not totally because she didn’t trust Nimueh but because it was an enemy she knew and not some kind of threat.“I could do more damage with the scales too if I know how to use the goddamn thing!” Sophie flung the knife on her bed in frustration as she folded her arms“What the fuck do you want Nimueh. It’s midnight and I have school in the morning” “because it’s time for my big plan” Nimueh sat down by the edge of her bed, Sophie exhaled and ran both hands in her full hair as she paced around where she stood“I know I said I’d help you but I didn’t think it’d involve you breaking in through my room window at fucking midnight” Sophie emphasized “Technically that wasn’t considered breaking in, and I’m not asking you to get me a cow or kill a goat for me.” Nimueh said sarcastically “All I want is for you to follow me to do the

“I know grey sent you here Joan, I know you have no business in Haynes anymore” Bernard added as he got up from the swivel chairJoan swallowed; her left side was facing Bernard. She tried not to make eye contact with him. She was trying her best to hide her fear; because of course she’d be scared of Bernard after hearing everything he was capable of“I’d be stupid to think Grey wouldn’t have told you the kind of person I am” He smirked and Joan finally turned to face him, swallowing her fear“I think we both already know the kind of person you are Dr. Bernard, to me you’re a scientist anything other than that or how my husband sees you or what he sees you as is none of my business” Joan fired with a soft smileBernard let out a soft chuckle before taking an inch step towards her with his hands behind him like a gentleman“What exactly are you doing here Joan, I haven’t been taking visitors lately” He added“Need I remind you that I and my husband are part of what makes Hayne, “

Sheriff Hardin had gone to the hospital where Shannon was admitted, it was the same hospital he was discharged from. He low key already knew that she’d be brought here; it was their family hospital at least when they were still a family. For a while back there he didn’t think he’d be that petrified that she was missing, and probably in the hands of some demonic girl. Maybe that was the part that petrified him the most, the idea of his ex wife being demon food. He stood by the heart monitor as he watched her sleep, she was still unconscious but the doctors said she would be fine eventually. There was also going to be a slight issue whereby she might forget things on different occasions. It’s like Amnesia but not the bad type; the doctor also didn’t know when she’d wake so she was practically in a coma. “You really had to give me a good scare, didn’t you?” Sheriff Hardin said to her but the only response he was getting was the beeping sounds from the heart monitor He slowly moved to

“I said I was going to set Haynes ablaze, you thought I was bluffing Grey? Just watch me” Joan glared wickedly at Grey “Let’s cook up a plan, team” Sheriff Hardin said ******************* Harley’s hands were tied to her back in a dark room; she was unconscious and was bleeding from the head. She blinked repeatedly as she struggled to get up from the bare floor and sit up straight; her head was banging so hard like she had been hit. She could feel something dripping from her forehead, she was sure as hell that it wasn’t sweat but she couldn’t touch her head to feel what it was. Harley was still trying to figure out where she was and how she ended up there; the memory wasn’t really coming together because she seemed to be in pain because of the head injury. Suddenly all the lights in the dark room came on and brightened the whole place, it was almost blinding her as she quickly squinted to avoid getting it into her eyes. “Ah! You’re awake, I see.” Dr. Bernard said as he opened the
