Joan had been in and out of the drama happening for the past few months, she and Grey weren’t really talking but she knew he was miserable.

His guilt wasn’t hers to deal with; she wanted to get her family back. She couldn’t possibly take on Bernard herself so she needed Intel on whatever he was doing that could help Harley.

She stood in front of the dressing mirror in her room as she pulled her hair into a ponytail; she brushed the uneven edges back with her hands first before using a brush.

Joan was going back to Haynes; it’s been a while since she had been there. She didn’t necessarily tell Bernard that she quit, she just stopped going when she noticed Grey was taking up the work the both of them were supposed to be doing and something more.

She was just going to walk into Haynes and head straight for her office, like she had some stuff to pack up from her office and maybe check out the lab to see if anything was different or suspicious.
