It was a breezy and perfect summer night. On the porch balcony, Dawn is letting the wind caress her long, beautiful, white hair. 45 years later “Okay, my little warriors, you have trained long and hard. Prove to me your fighting prowess; show no mercy” The female voice said. The children started their training course, which included attacking dummies and running through woods, culminating in teamwork. “One more push, honey,” the man coached, as the woman cried out in agony and continued to push. With each push, the woman gripped the bed rails tightly while her legs remained propped up. The man asked the doctor, "How much longer?" "Almost there, Alpha, I can see the head, keep going Luna!" the female doctor urged. Alpha comforted his Luna, who was in pain, by her bedside. Seeing her suffer, he felt a deep internal ache and wished to comfort her. Just as promised, 6 a.m. arrived, and a hint of light broke the darkness. Outside, on the grass, sat Logan, Julian, Simone, and several other children; drowsy, bewildered, and in a daze. A little past six, people were talking amongst themselves, trying to make sense of things. “Do we really need this training to be so early?” Julian questioned. Logan said, "My dad says we all have to train to become warriors; I'm unsure about it." "I'd prefer to be in bed instead of here," Simone stated. The moment someone opened their mouth, a growl shattered the silence, making everyone leap in fear. The unexpected appearance of three wolves sent shivers down everyone's spine, with some children wetting themselves out of sheer terror. As they were on the verge of beginning their run, Julian and Simone both started to sniff the air. Snapping them out of their trance, a scent caused Julian and Simone to search in opposite directions, leaving Logan, confused, in the middle. Logan was in a trance, thinking how happy he was for his friends was about to find their mates. “Mates” Logan trance was broken when he heard both Julian and Simone spoke. He turned to find Julian and Simone locked in a gaze, their eyes both black. While approaching each other, Logan takes a step back and their eyes return to normal, questioning, "So, are we mates?” Simone said. "So it seems," Julian agrees. Simone asks, “What's my scent?” “Like cherry blossoms, that’s what you smell like,” Julian said. “Before you ask, you smell like a pine tree,” Simone said. Following a week, during a training session with veteran wolves, Logan observed three unknown males, and a female from the pack, walking in his direction. Logan addressed the children, "Class is dismissed," he said, turning around. The children nodded and went separate ways. Following their leaving, Logan went to where the woman and three unidentified men were.“Sheila, how's it going today? Logan inquires. “Logan, I’m doing okay?” Sheila replies. "Nothing much, I'm finishing training, so tell me, who are they?" Logan question. "They only got here today, so they're new to the pack," Sheila explained. "I had a feeling it had to do with those damn wolves, they're responsible," Logan said, gesturing towards them. While watching the frightening pack members, Logan's gaze fell upon three men who'd joined a week prior. Logan felt the weight of their deadly stares, as if they could kill him with a single glance. With beta and gamma at his side, he informed his father of the situation and they started planning. Eugene mind links Lina, “Baby, what I’m going to need for you to do is gather all the women, children, and run into the house and head to the hideout, all of the men will distract these rouges.” “Okay, I understand,” she muttered. Eugene mentally connected all the men, giving them orders to show no mercy. Everyone nodded in agreement. Time passed, and Logan awoke to the silence and strong smell of blood. Finding himself back in human form, Logan is overcome with fear, anticipating more trouble ahead. The pain in Logan's not-fully-healed left upper quadrant prevented him from fully getting up; he only made it halfway. Getting up and walking to the packhouse was all that mattered. Upon seeing a ripped shirt and pants, Logan wore the pants and used the shirt to create a makeshift bandage for his wound. Proceeding at a slow pace, he started walking towards the packhouse. He stopped when his growing anger and emotion reached a peak as he got closer. His eyes could not believe the sight before him: his dead pack members lying in a pool of blood. Logan observed what appeared to be a massacre as he walked around, feeling a deep sadness as he saw women, children, and most heartbreakingly, his best warriors among the bodies. Logan departed with a look of hatred in his eyes. Before leaving, he spoke out. "Mitchell, wherever you go in the afterlife, I hope they show you no mercy, I hope your soul rots for all eternity," Mitchell breathed his last and died. After turning back, Logan walked over to Julian and Simone, knelt down, and spotted a piece of shirt which he then reached for. Retrieving it, he unites Julian and Simone's hands, ties the shirt around their wrists, and declares, "Julian, Simone, you are forever bonded, your souls at peace, my friends." Night was approaching, and Logan needed to escape, but he required medical attention first. Upon arriving at his house, he immediately began searching the premises, ensuring he was the only one there, then quickly headed to the first-floor bathroom to get bandages and saline solution. Logan opened the saline and felt a stinging sensation, causing him to let out a slight growl. Next, he used the bandages to cover his chest and stomach. He then went to his r
