The world was blurred for a few seconds until my vision cleared. My throat was very dry and I was in a lot of pain. I proceeded to get up from where I was lying but it was torture. I managed to do it though. I sat up and groaned as I study the room I was in. The air smelled like urine and mud. And the sound of the water dripping was now even louder. I soon realized that it was raining. And there was a leak from the ceiling. A metallic pan was placed under the part of the roof that was leaking, as a way to collect the dripping water. That was where the sound was coming from. My head was hurting so badly and I could not stop my eyes from producing tears. We hid in the bushes and stayed as quiet as possible. Owls hooted and night creatures sang, but that was not what we were listening to.
