Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. That was the sound that woke me up. The dripping of water into something like a metallic pan. I released a labored breath and then opened my heavy eyelids. I made sure that I had some cover in the bushes as I walked closer to the shack that I suspected Jade to be in.
