Suddenly lost in twin jade oceans, Briar was rendered speechless, snapping her mouth shut at once. Across, the hall, a shorter, dark haired girl, with silver eyes saw Briar’s reaction, and understood what was happening here and text Alyssa. Text Message From: K. Rei wasn’t kidding about meeting her after every class, inwardly smiling. She childishly wondered if he was looking at no one but her when he focused his stare on her, but reality smacked her in the face, once again for not minding her surroundings. Alyssa popped up seemingly from out of nowhere, right in front of Rei, smiling and whispering apologies, Briar called them “Sweet Little Lies”. They result in one of two ways, pain or heartbreak. Rei’s eyes flew open, instantly aware that Kitsune, Briar’s hidden wolf had pushed back to let him know she was almost ready to emerge. He had roughly a month to prepare for it.
