Jillie's POV            I watched him walk away toward the water. I called after him, but he didn't even as much as look back. I looked down at the guy on the ground, and he was shaking. I didn't blame him. I was shaking to. What was up with Jarren's eyes? They'd looked almost black.           I shook my head as I began to walk slowly toward the water. Jarren's POV             I pulled back instantly, fangs immediately retracting. What had I done? I got off of her and walked over to the window, opening it just a bit. I needed some fresh air. I needed to air her scent and the smell of her blood out of the room. I turned back to look at her, and she was holding three fingers to her neck. I could have died if it were possible when I saw the blood on her fingers when she pulled them back.
