Chapter One•KIANA•"Kiana, you're still here?" I heard my boss, Mrs. Kareem, ask and I raised up my head."Yes ma'am, I'm still here." I replied in a low voice while rubbing my eyes to chase the sleepiness away.I work as a salesgirl in a convenience store and I'm currently sleeping in the backroom where my boss found me now."What are you still doing here? I was about to close up the store and I thought that I should check around before closing up, thank goodness I found you here or you would have been locked inside the store." Mrs. Kareem said with a hint of a smile on her face and I chuckled lightly."Oh, I'll get my things and leave now, ma'am. Thanks for waking me up." I got on my feet and said. I was about to walk away and get my things when Mrs. Kareem stopped me."Wait a minute, Kiana. Are you okay? I've been noticing that you've been sleeping on duty lately, is everything alright?" She asked with concern on her face and I put on a faux smile on my face."I'm fine, ma'am. Th

Chapter Three•KIANA•I felt my fingers twitch as my eyes slowly cracked open. I snapped it close a second later because of the bright light. I opened my eyes again and they have gotten accustomed to the light. The first thing my eyes came in contact with was a beautiful tray ceiling with a golden chandelier. I let my hand wander across the bed and it was softer than anything I had ever seen. I quickly got into a sitting position and looked around the room. The room was dark, save for the chandelier and the curtains were drawn close but sunlight was peeking inside. There was a nagging voice at the back of my mind telling me that I had been abducted and I tried to remember what happened. That was when everything that had happened began playing in my head like I was watching a TV. I remembered being dragged out of my father's house by the huge men that came to get back their money, I also remember that I was put inside their car and one of them drugged me when I was putting up a fight.

Chapter Five•KIANA•I was in my room two hours later, laying on the bed with nothing to do. Breakfast with Emma, Gabriel and Cassie went really well and I secretly wished for it to never end but they had to go back to their house. Turns out this Villa was for "The Boss" and he didn't live with his family. They only came to get to know me and have brunch with me which was quite a nice thing to do. Now, I'm back in my room with nothing to do. I could only stare at the ceiling as if there was something interesting about it.If I had a notebook and pen with me. I could make myself busy by writing but neither of that was here. Trust me, I've checked every nook and cranny of this room but I didn't find anything that I could write with. I would have asked Julie for the notebook and pen but she had left me after the brunch and the door was locked. I had nothing to do except for laying on the bed and staring at the ceiling and walls.I was beginning to fall asleep when I heard someone open t

Chapter Seven•KIANA•"What did you just say?" I asked dumbly, like I didn't hear what he said before."You've been making me repeat myself in the last minutes and I don't normally do that." He stated."I said that what if I sent you to college?""Wow, do you mean it? This is the first time I'm hearing something like this." I uttered, staring at him with a mixture of shock and disbelief."I don't say things that I don't mean." He responded simply.I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I had always dreamed of going to college to study English Literature but I discarded that thought because of lack of money. Now, Aiden is offering to send me to college. There's no way I'm refusing that offer.I looked at him with tears welling up in my eyes."Are you serious?" I asked in a whisper."Yes bitch, I am!" He snapped and I figured out that he couldn't take any more of my questions. I turned a deaf ear to what he addressed me as."Wow, thank you so much. I don't know how to appreciate you."

Chapter Nine|Next Morning|•KIANA•I woke up some minutes ago and immediately went to the bathroom to take my bath. I got dress dressed in the outfit Julie brought for me. Then I went to the dining room to have breakfast which was practically toast, bacon, eggs and tea. After having breakfast, Julie came to my room and informed me that it was time for us to go to the mall to get the things I'll be needing in the house. She took me to the garage where I saw different fleet of cars ranging from SUVs to jeeps to sports cars. We met an older man who was in a dark suit and he appeared to be the one driving us."We're taking that car." He uttered, pointing at one of the SUVs. I bobbed my head and got into the backseat of the car with Julie. The older man got into the driver's seat after us and drove out of the villa.I looked out of the window to see the route we were driving through. The whole place was surrounded by trees on both sides, no sight of other houses or people and I almost th
