Chapter 20: Accidents Happen, right?

LaraIt was another night shift, same as any other night. I was doing my rounds when I noticed Dr. Cameron coming out of one of the patients’ room. Lara Dr. Cameron comes strolling up to me as if he had no care in the world. He still looks a bit tired and exhausted, but I gotta say he is a good-looking man. Orion I was looking at my side mirror, feeling annoyed, but trying to stay calm. It's not a big deal that it happened because I could just fix it. Lara“Are you planning on going back there to visit," I asked, not really wanting an answer, but kind of curious. It's stupid to ask, I know, but I just can't help it. LaraWork was work. I'm not the new person anymore. So, my co-workers in and out of the lab, don't pay much attention to me. “Hey, Lara,” I heard from behind me. The steam was rolling off the heat of the water as it cascaded on my body. My breath was even and level. This was so calming. When I came home I went straight into my office and booted up all my surveillance I had in this city. I caught sight of a disturbance in front of Orion’s shop. Why are there crazy’s coming after Orion? He isn’t in anything pertaining to the government, or secret societal or political stuff. Why him? I thought about it, but I’ll have to ask him about him, his family, and everything else. This all doesn’t add up. Lara Waking up was a chore. I really didn’t want to wake up but did it anyways. Life seemed pleasant at the moment. So, not wanting to get up isn’t due to laziness or no motivation. It’s because of Orion and Crown. I’m happy that they stayed until I fell asleep. Orion would have checked the house before he left, so I’m not concerned. A feeling of being safe came over me. I’ve been single for such a long time; I notice the little things. It’s been a while since I felt good upon waking up. Actually, I can’t remember the last time I felt good when waking up.
