HER THREE MATES のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 31 - チャプター 40

Ruby’s POV A voice comes out of nowhere, and definitely inside the invisible barrier. Due to the sudden fear I grab onto Owen's shirt. “Come in you.” The voice says, we try to look around, but there is no one in the vicinity. I feel Owen's hand tighten around my wrist, as he pulls me towards him even more. Even amidst all this scare, I feel so happy that he is the one with me. “Hey, don't worry, just pass via the barrier and you will see me.” I can feel that the statement is directed to me, and somehow it doesn't sound dangerous. I take a step forward, but Owen pulls me back. “What are you trying to do, baby?” He asks in an angry yet concerned tone. The fear is evident in his eyes though he is afraid for me, I can feel it. “We came here for this baby, and we have to do it no matter what. And also I can't stay here for too long, mum, and dad must be approaching now. And I don't want to find out what will happen when I see him.” I say feigning courage. I need him to be focused and

Owen’s POVWhy are they taking so long, I can’t stop pacing around it has been hours it’s already nighttime. The cabin has been like that all day. I have tried all I could to pass through this freaking barrier, but I haven’t. Just as I am about to tap into the barrier again with all my might, something weird happens. I fall through, finding myself in a entirely different place. The weather, and environment changes, it's even day time here, since I fell flat on my face, when I get up I am met with three sets of eyes. Mr. Noah, Anna and some weird looking woman. Her white hair is so long that it's blowing freely against the wind. I get up nervously, my whole being afraid of what I am reading on their faces, I am just afraid of asking. “Is everything okay miss Powers?” I ask Ruby's mom. She just looks at me and shakes her head. The tiredness evident on her face and eyes. “No, please don’t tell me my Ruby is…" I rush past them and into the house. I stop in my tracks when I see three u

Ruby’s POV“Can I go meet them?” I can't hide my joy. I am still in Owen's arms, of course. He doesn't want to let me go. It's the second time I have seen him this scared. I am lucky to have a mate like him, I just nothing comes in between us for sure. “Of course, I am sure they will be so glad to meet you. You have really been through a lot Ruby.” He says placing me on the arm chair in front of my dressing mirror. "But it was worth it isn't it baby." I say feeling too ecstatic. "Yes it really was. Now I have my Ruby all to myself." He says smiling."Very selfish demon." I smile. my body still aches but with him by my side, all is well. He picks up my wet wipes from my dressing table wipes his hands clean before , wiping my face slowly, then he applies some moisturiser to my face and a lip gloss. "Perfect." He smiles. I can get used to this treatment. "Thank you." I say. He then scoops me in his arms again and starts to walk downstairs. My heart is racing too fast, do they look l

Owen’s POV We reserved the whole restaurant for ourselves, I didn't want us being interrupted by the pack members, but we took different tables for privacy. I just didn’t want to be distracted by the others, I want to look at my Ruby all night long. Her beautiful face all made up, her long lashes, her cherry lips, her perfect voice. And her eyes on me, I even regret why I planned dinner, I would have planned a gate away instead. I could be lying on a bed somewhere naked right now beside her. I take out the seat for her, before taking my own. “Thank you, handsome.” She winks when I sit opposite her, did she hear my thoughts, because the smile she has on is somehow mischievous? “I didn't know my baby was a gentleman.” She says, smiling even wider, I don’t think she heard me. Her eyes are so full of life now, she is radiant. I am just overwhelmed by relief too, at least now I can mark her and make her my wife. My wife! It sounds so wonderful. Over the years I have dated uncountabl

Owen’s POVRuby is still in my arms, almost lifeless, and Möbius keeps pacing around the meeting chambers. My tears are running down my eyes uncontrollably, I can't imagine a life without Ruby. A life where I don't see her mischievous smile, a world where her beautiful eyes are closed. She is the light within me, and if anything happens, my whole being will be darkness from inside out. “Hey asshole, can you say something? My mate doesn’t have much time.” Her breathing is becoming lower and lower by the minute. “Oh brother, I didn’t know you could actually cry. You used to act all tough, I didn’t know a woman could tame you like that.” He smirks. “Stop annoying me, and please give me the antidote.” I yell and beg at the same time. I am so desperate, I have never been this desperate in my whole life. “What is special about her, let’s see, is it her hot body? Her amazing figure, her beautiful eyes… Naah! I don’t think so.” I feel like killing him, how dare he describe my woman like t
