The sirens were loud as Reid dragged Jane down the hallway. Everywhere around them people shouted and poured inside the pack hall. Jane glimpsed her mother who was being herded away by Kyle. Jane parked her car in the spot where Reid usually parked and she noticed more than a few looks at her blatant bravery. She ignored it as more people stared at her and she wondered if she had something on her face.A group of girls walked past her and giggled when recognition showed in their eyes. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary and she knew that she didn’t have toilet paper hanging from her skirt.
