Chapter Eleven

Sebastian was impossibly close to her. She hadn’t noticed him moving, hadn’t realized he was trapping her in. His mouth was next to her ear now; she could feel his hot breath against her neck, tickling the fine, curling hairs there.

“I like you, Jane.” She closed her eyes as he whispered those words and her heart felt like it was beating its own rhythm.

“I like you too, Sebastian.”

He moved, just a fraction of an inch, away from her and smiled. She could feel his wolf reaching out for hers. His scent was alluring, confusing her senses just a little. Weren’t you supposed to only have eyes for your mate?
